That's why I think it's a fantastic. Something different from the usual combo or cab design. I think it might be a bit marmite. -

I hate to promote Bezos but D’Addario prices on Amazon are normally pretty competitive. Thomann also. -

I don’t dislike the aesthetics but it does give me 1970s washing machine vibes… -

For sale is my lovely Warwick Thumb, you know what you're looking at, this is the real deal, the flagship of the Warwick line. Selling because I'm not a 6 string guy, looking for the right P bass (slightly open to Precision trades, but I think I've found the right one, hence the sale) Located in West London, can try before you buy if local. I'd rather not ship this but can arrange if necessary for extra cost. Comes with hard case. Click for link to photos: https://808.box.com/s/bht9id32fp25v10cg88xpmnx16d1lcaw Happy shopping Dan

Just confirmed the first Canadian guest on my bass player's podcast. Can't wait. Seems like an amazingly nice person and is a great player.
-
'at that price'?? Far cheaper than the Babics Z, and better build quality than THE Fender BBOT, side by side it's far better..

They're great live! I saw them in Bristol a few years ago, highly recommended! -
Just noticed that my old Cort GB5 Custom is now for sale, and relatively close to you.

I get worked up about people replying to threads they aren't interested in. Oops, that's me... -
It's just the build quality, far superior, you have to hold it to see what I mean, the BBOT just seems a bit tacky side by side, I'm pleased and that's all.....

Late to the party, but I’ve noticed Instagram only brings people to gigs if I post more personal or behind-the-scenes stuff. Gear pics get likes, but stories about rehearsals or short clips from past shows seem to connect better. Have you tried mixing in that kind of content or using local hashtags? It might help reach people who are actually close enough to come out

I am always surprised how much I enjoy their music. Must see them live. -
You have my sympathies.

With your preference for somewhat fatter necks, you could have a look for a second-hand Cort GB5 Custom (or the GB95 Custom, same bass, made in different countries). J/MM pickups rather than straight J, great build quality. I sold mine only because my preference is for the slimmer neck. They're not baseball bat sized, but just a bit fatter than I like.

Aidan bought some strings from me. Great communications throughout, super fast payment and he kindly took the time to let me know when they had arrived. Perfect! Thank you!

Success! DMC Micro flashed to latest SW version. USB Midi read by MAC and editors Homebrew Midi > TRS cable passing data allowing DMC to change ENZO programs EXP trs Pedal data is reading in DMC. DMC is passing EXP data.. BUT only when the Enzo is set to MIDI OMNI [this took some swearing to find out] Now it is whammy time! Dear GOD what a faff though, spaghetti everywhere! DIN cables can do one. Now to tidy up the surgery, proof of concept is done though, and I am very happy. [ Spoke to soon, my Midi cable hack just died of plastic fatigue ffs.. hey ho, build a BETTER one 🙂] https://disasterarea.io/dmcmicro/#MultiJack > brilliant and free Enzo Editor and LIbrary > Amazeballs and free
