    Ireal pro is a great tool, but: 1. The chords are all user-contributed and very often not great quality. 2. The midi backing tracks are awful, and I can hear their influence on a lot of jazz I seem to be hearing these days. It is often played much too fast and square. £18 is pretty good value if you don't mind taking a tablet with you everywhere though. I prefer the New Orleans Jambook. There are chords for each song and they're better quality. If you've never seen this kind of lead sheet the chords at the top are for instruments tuned in C, and the melody is for instruments in Bb.     I don't think this is the likely cause. Post pre-amp signal is normally taken before the feeed goes to the power amp so won't be affected by the master volume. My TecAmp works this way. I think this must be a design feature of the Rumble 100.

    Hello. I'm Chris. I live in a little town on the edge of the peak district. I've been a longtime musician, mostly interested in popular music from 1920-1950ish (all learned from 78rpm recordings! ). My main instument is the ukulele but I also play a bit of lap steel and banjo. I'm in various bands and do a bit of ukulele tuition. I am looking to pick up bass to broaden my horizons a bit - I have spent many years in the same tiny little niche and much as I love it want to mix things up. I am interested in other kinds of music. Currently I'm playing a loaned Jackson bass which doesn't suit me at all, so I will end up on the marhetplace soon.

    Here we go again... this is a great bass, but the length of it exacerbates my nerve pain, and no matter how incredible the tone is I need something a bit smaller that sits in a different position, like a Music Man. These are Jazz Bass size, with one extra fret, so a touch longer. I think that the magic of this bass is in the pickup, and not the pre amp as some folk have written online. I'm lucky enough to have bought a used pickup, which is pretty amazing as these basses are rare, so I'll be putting it into what ever bass I replace this one with - it has a huge output and sculpted tone. A maximum of 550 of these were made, with 250-275 in silver and the same amount in pink. This is another reason I've been reluctant to let it go; and also why I'm not all desperate to trade it - this advert is just out of curiosity to see if there's anything out there. Made in USA for about 2-3 years, this one from 2019. Weighs approx 9.33lbs / 4.23kg It's in a 9.5/10 condition, with just a few tiny marks on the back. Quatersawn neck, alder body, compound radius fingerboard, Tim Shaw designed pickup, Aguilar OBP-1, BA style bridge.... It's a beast. Comes with the original case and all candy.     We'll have to meet and compare preamps being as you're only 40 miles away. Would actually be very interesting to hear the Sadowsky onboard in a Fender.

    Funny you saying that. The preamp on mine has been swapped out for a Sadowsky one with the vtc. I brought it with the mod done, but I do have the original pre amp. I also own a 5 deluxe too.

    Fishman Platinum Stage - I use it for rehearsals when I don't have the time or energy to lug a rig. Simple but clean, EQ, low cut options, built in boost, can run on battery and clip on your belt if needed.

    I'm pleased to read that the hardware is made from high grade steel! Definitley not a fan of die-cast "zinc".
