  1. Past hour
  2. I have access to a private storage facility that I visit regularly to swap/retrieve stuff as required...
  3. Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but seems better than starting again - I have a 3 Leaf You're Doom, and I have the option to trade it for a Doom 2, but it'll cost me around £150 to swap. Is it worth it, I'm really happy with the You're Doom, it is really simple to dial in between songs for live use and it never sounds bad. I do like the eq option on the Doom 2 though, seems like it will be even more versatile, but will it be as usable live? Anyone who has tried both, is it worth £150 to "upgrade", or should I just be happy with what I have?
  4. Sorry to ask but where are they stored? 🤣
  5. This is a very good quality plate, made by Fatboy Guitars Ltd. in Newport England, probably about 20 years ago. I have had it in a drawer for years and never even removed the plastic film so it is in new unmarked condition. The colour is a very pale mint green to my eyes which is not captured in the photos. Price includes UK postage.
  6. It's OK, I have 11 electric guitards as well so the total is 105
  7. These are perfect for just jacking in a pre-stage/board. Loud and transparent. Bargain.
  8. As in: I am a Mal and I live in a Hal
  9. I'll second that, Lozz.
  10. Thanks. Wunjos can be quite generous with their buy-in prices so I'm trying my luck again. I'll play it by ear. I haven't ruled out selling it on here but once I have it in my head a bass isn't staying I want it out the way asap.
  11. I think another 6 is in order, a Basschatter with 100 basses!
  12. I assume that was because Owen was based in Wales but playing a gig in Belfast.
  13. More like rhyming with 'hole'
  14. I SHOULD add that the only reason for sale is due to upgrading to the GLXD16+ system. I'm doing this not for connectivity reasons (I have never had any problems whatsoever), but because the two guitarists in my main gig both use the + version and I feel it makes sense for redundancy reasons that we're all singing from the same hymnsheet, as Shure are cheeky buggers and spare GLXD1s don't work with the + system and visa versa.
  15. Good luck with the haggle! Out of curiousity: why don't you sell it through the BC classifieds instead? 3 seems like a decent number of basses, indeed.
  16. Still enjoying the full body Gillett I bought off you Mike - always gets a lot of interest at gigs and complements on the tone.
  17. I think that might depend on whether one has a plum in ones mouth (while playing one's Wal, naturally). Or there may be an Aussie interpretation of this too.....

  20. Aguilar DB112 1x12 8 ohm cab. 300w. Padded Hotcover included. Good condition. Happy to meet at a location halfway, or £15 to courier it within the UK
  21. Seems to be generally positive, but the same points seem to come up from everyone, which made me unsure. Plus, when it comes down to it, its quite a lot for a copy of a thing, when you can get that thing for the same price, so, well, I went and got the same thing for the same price, even if it has a string missing - I will try and see if I can get on with it, and if I can't then I shouldn't have much trouble moving it on
  22. Someone is in for a treat!
