  3. @terryj im afraid I've never got on with Stingray type basses so Ill give it a miss but thanks for asking.
  4. Lush. Not generally a fan of too funky shapes but these are really special
  5. Here’s a very nice unmolested MIJ P bass, very good condition for a 35 year old bass and plays beautifully. A few minor marks which are shown in pics. Serial no. and prefix dates it to 1990. Weight is just over 8lbs using the rather less than accurate bathroom scales method – but basically it’s pretty light. I’ve retired from playing and have been selling off equipment and accessories and now, sadly, this has to find a new home also. You can check my profile, you’ll see I’ve been a regular contributor to the BC forum for a long time. Sensibly priced, only a soft case (a decent one) on offer with it, so it will be collection only. I’m based at Chichester, West Sussex, but I have family at Woking and Putney in London so the bass could be picked up from either of these places also. Thanks for looking.

I have one. It works really well with the special pickup but is pretty underwhelming with a direct standard bass input. i am not sure I would want to take it to a gig but it's great as a way of having a load of presets for home studio use.
  8. 🤔maybe I could take pic of saddles etc and phone tech to see if they can file to fit ..
  9. That is so nice. I have a 6 string fretless version of that and they are basses for all styles. GLWTS. Dave
  10. This album by Horace Martin is well worth a listen, Horace has been around for a long time but you don’t really hear much about him these days ,apparently he’s popular in Mexico, nice vocals and some great Basslines
  11. Look at that sunny weather you lucky sod Daryl. We're getting 6 oC and the central heating is now on most of the day. Hottest its reached was about 14 oC. Looks like a very interesting gig tho. Dave
  12. In action earlier this month.
  13. Bump - i’ve been using this cab recently in gigs (see last weekend’s “how was your gig last night?” post) and it works perfectly as a single cab solution for most gigs. I’m only selling it as a) I have two of them and b) despite having apparently passed my uni course I have yet to get a job sorted, and hence two of these is a luxury I don’t need. So yeah, bump.
  14. A used 1000S would be the one to go for if you want an EHB, 30" scale and headless so super tiny.
  15. Just completed, good luck with your studies bro
  16. Yeah - sorry - but given the OP expanded to include IEM I thought the thread was fair game!
  17. You might well get away with an appropriate width round file and simply broaden what you have.
  18. How are you finding it? I had the original 5 knob version, and it's hands down my second favourite sounding reverb on bass (and way more versatile than my first pick - Neunaber Wet, which just sounds epic). I was really tempted by this newer version, but the cost just felt a bit too prohibitive.
  19. Hi Rob, I know you’re a long way from me or you would be more than welcome to borrow mine, my experience is they really are a wonderful sounding amp especially with a P bass with flats and very versatile , mine is silent which is great for home use so no hum or noise, volume wise I’ve never had it up full but I’ve had it just over half way and it’s fairly loud , that’s with a Barefaced big baby ll, but I don’t know how much more it would give, Ive got a feeling that it might not be loud enough for you, I know there’s a few here that do use them in their band they might be able to advise more on the volume , maybe @Beer of the Bass, @Beedster
  20. Oookay..,this could be more trouble ( and costly ) than it’s worth. 🤔 I forgot about the saddles of course ( which are Warwick’s own ) 🤦‍♂️ I just tried the experiment ( in a lazy way for now ) , of moving the strings ‘down’ a slot each( E string on A slot and so on ) . Surprisingly the E string seems fine on the A slot ! The A string on the D slot seems more problematic and kept sliding out and didn’t want to be there . On the pic , my finger was holding it on . As for the Warwick website , the multi country tab is a pita as uk not listed. i managed to find the English site eventually, but haven’t pressed any buy it now buttons as if I need a new saddle or 2 which might put me off of doing it at all..
  21. Is this still available? And what is under that bit of pickguard? Is it hiding a failed route or something?
  22. I lived with a bunch of Boro-lads for about 4 years - all that "was us fookin wentin or fookin gannin man" sort of rubbed off on me and I occasionally tag it on the end of a sentence. It's not maaan, though!
