  2. Can You Dig It - The Mock Turtles
  3. I was at an open mic a few weeks ago. The Crafter mandolin the chap was playing disintegrated during its owners set! It went out of tune while he was playing and over the next ten minutes or so the top started caving in. I told him to get the tension of, the strings straightiaway. There's a lot of tension in mandolins. Angry little things! To be fair, this one lived in a van so not stored in ideal locations.
  4. Shaft! - Isaac Hayes
  5. I think MartinB has it - if you like the tone of the DI from the amp, just stick a plug in the headphone socket, as long as that doesn't also mute the DI. A very cheap technical fix.
  6. If that was a 5er I'd be in a lot of trouble with my wife 😅 GLWTS!
  7. Very good quality audio interface, very light home use. Just much more tech than I can use. Details and spec here: https://www.esi-audio.com/products/u86xt/ Original box, power, cables and paperwork included. £180 collected. Quite a chunky parcel, so postage extra.
  8. Hello!
  9. TA!
  10. I have one of these pedals built by @BabyBlueSound and it's absolutely brilliant. Biggest bargain on Basschat .
  11. Hole again - Atomic Kitten
  12. What do most of you guys do in terms of sending the various inputs on the desk to our personal aux output mixes "pre fader" or "post fader", and why?
  13. I did have to cut them down with a hacksaw lol.
  14. Yeah this is the 2.0 version, the first one was quite a different beast altogether. I assume the bars were added later on. Don't see many of these about!
  15. Hi, no, it’s 34’
  16. Hi Scott funnily enough I was thinking of relisting it as I'm definitely using my Mesa gear more at present, where are you based?
  17. Feel free to make offers, I'm having something of a gear clear-out at present, and if you haven't used one of these before, they are extremely useful practice tools, and with a little bit of experimentation are also good for live and recording 👍
  18. Two units I'm not really using any more, £120 each posted & insured. Happy to haggle if needs be Krivo, gold standard of low-feedback magnetic DB PUPs (IMO of course....) Lifeline, also rather useful for (generally) low feedback amplification 👍
  19. When I was doing similar I used Ashdown amps, both ABMs and RMs, as both have an EQ bypass switch, hence my reasons for using them. The RM amps are Class D, small, light & powerful. They did do a 300 watt version, but used you can get the 500s for around £300ish. Reliability-wise they`re good, and being based in the UK any issues they`ll sort quickly.
  20. A Gator GR-3S 3U flight case. Lightweight plastic/aluminium construction, 4.5kg. Installation depth (up to the lid at the back): 311 mm Never gigged - just used to house equipment at home. Collect from Chepstow, UK or I can post to UK addresses.
  21. 2x Behringer PS400 'Micropower' phantom power supplies. 12/48V selectable phantom power voltage. Includes 12 Volt DC power adapters. NB: underside has velcro stuck on. Collect from Chepstow, UK. Or I can post to UK addresses.

  22. I don't get the urge to make amps look pristine but make guitars look relic'd. I love the look of a relic"d amp. Amps have a far harder life than guitars on the road. This one looks superb. I'd leave as is. GLWTS
  23. Price Drop to £150.
  24. Decided to sell individually as well as possible job lot(s) £120 for all 14 pads or £15 each plus postage. Thanks
  25. U.K. postage is around 70 on Shiply so would let this go for £400 delivered Thanks
  26. I have owned one of these in the past. Don't be put off by the shape - I found mine surprisingly ergonomic - it balances well and the top edge of the body formed what I can only describe as a "shelf" for my forearm to rest on. Really quite pleasant playing experience, and sounded good too. I felt enriched and enlightened by the experience of owning and playing one. And yes, you feel like a bloomin' rock god when you're playing it - you will throw shapes and pull faces. GLWTS!
