Variax 500 Korean made. Good condition, comes with Line 6 gigbag, power unit and power supply, plus TRS cable (which I’ve labelled so you know which input to use on the unit). It’s a great all in one guitar, perfect for live or studio and means you don’t have to take loads of guitars with you, just turn the dial and your Telecaster becomes a L.Paul or a 12 string Ric. Might be up for a trade plus cash your way for a Tele or a Semi-Hollow 6 string. Feel free to pick up from home and have a play, or I can meet up within reasonable and pre agreed distance from Bath/Bristol area. I can post too, well wrapped up.

Yes, you’re right. This one is a bass for life so I’m not too worried.

I do agree Tom, but without the original packaging, I'd be concerned about sending this out into courier world. I also much prefer potential buyers to confirm they are happy with the item in person before they purchase. However, if a buyer would be prepared to arrange collection by their preferred courier I could source appropriate packaging.

Hi folks, selling my amazing tech 21 fly rig due to picking up a hx stomp. I've had this pedal for a few years and it's brilliant. I've only ever used it at home and in all honesty only used the sansamp/tuner/compressor functions however it all works as it should. It's in good condition, slightly dusty with a few minor marks. Original box included and will include the power supply. Price is posted in the UK. If anyone wants better pics let me know. Thanks

Markbass CMD 112 P Mini Combo LMII Preamp
Sparky Mark replied to ash's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
This photo shows the control layouts of the LM2 vs LM3. The original Combo Head was based on the LM2, the replacement Combo Head 2 was based on the LM3. Pre 2012ish LM3 were all class AB. When Markbass moved production to Indonesia in 2012 it started to use Yellow Line stamped steel frame drivers. I share your experience that class AB with B&C drivers are the best sounding version of this combo. -

It's a car boot sale though, so they say they want £200 and they'll have people offer them 50p and a pre-chewed Werthers Original then getting offended when they're told to sling it. Having said that.... At a vintage fair saw a nice Kramer guitar once. I think they wanted two grand "because of who it belonged to, wink wink" I was told. It was an Eddie Van Halen replica. B*blocks, can't be EVH's and can't even be pretending it is. I was right. They said it belonged to some bloke from a 70s rock band I'd vaguely heard of. As if that makes a budget Kramer, absolutely knackered, and with peeling decals to make it look like an EVH, worth more than £100.

It’s not been repaired although regularly PAT tested and serviced. It’s always been very reliable. Not sure about the source of your info however I’m not questioning it. The ‘Combo Head II’ as it’s labelled on the control panel I had assumed was the same as the Little Mark II but to my ears it sounds the best of all the CMD mini combos. It certainly is heavier than the later version I had (and sold on) that was around 12kgs. That version had a later preamp and just didn’t have the tone this one has. Thanks for the info!

I've owned a lot of combos and they all had their flaws. They were either loud but heavy, or light and not powerful enough. But my latest combo, which is a Markbass CMD 121P, ticks both the loud and light boxes. I got mine used but I'd definitely have paid the full price (whatever that is/was) for a new one, they're definitely worth it.
