I believe there was a California law proposed that would make the handling of stolen goods over a value of $950 a more serious crime than it currently is and that it allowed prosecutors to get a conviction even if the person had no idea. Not sure that's allowable. Theft under $950 is classed as a misdemeanor as opposed to a felony, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_California_Proposition_47 for more information. I am not a lawyer, I don't live in the USA and if you decide to go shoplifting, steal $951, get caught and end up in court, please do not come back to me Thanks Rob

Selling this great outboard bass preamp on behalf of my friend Alex Lofoco. The preamp is currently in Rome and can be shipped from there or from London when Alex comes over next. This is the original Sadowsky Outboard preamp which was built by Fishman - this particular unit was made on Dec 14th 1992 and and includes a belt/strap clip and a battery compartment. Any questions, let me know!

Yes, with my Eastwood Classic 4, when I need some old-school thump.

I'm looking forward to this Saturday. I'll get a chance to hang out with a bunch of our local musicians. I'm glad we're going on first. It's a beautiful room on the marina in Port Washington. Daryl

So, it looks like the neck-lift issue lies between the end of the neck and the bridge. My guess is the weak-point is the thinnest part under the "P" pickups. It might be possible to "persuade" it back by adapting it to a string-thru arrangement or adding extra screws to clamp down the underside of the bridge end of the neck extension where the backplate sits, but that might also just introduce another issue.

Falken 1 Mega Power Bank Bought 18 months ago to power my pedal board, worked perfectly. Will easily last a long gig, with 3 pedals it was lasting 10 hours or so before it was empty. Velcroed to bottom of board, saves faffing about with power. Charges via USB phone charger. Paid £103 from Thomann. £70 including UK postage.

Well, I was wearing my Hi-Fi hat rather than as a musician and went there because I did a seach for hi-res Peter Gabriel, rather than because I was on bandcamp. -

Really? I've dipped in and out of this because IMO it's way too boring to watch all 45 minutes in one sitting, but the overall impression I get is that maybe instead of making videos worrying about AI, he should just knuckle down and make some more music of his own. And rather than watch the whole video that's what I'm going to do. -

Yeah, spot on soo far (I'm halfway through it). I recently started an electronic music project with someone and after trying what Sumo could do sort of scuppered our plans - we figured if we're just doing it to make music and not play live then what's the point? Sumo can pretty much do it as well already with the righ prompts. I've spent about 20 years learning music production but it now feels like learning to make photo-realistic drawings and then the camera being invented. I had toyed with the idea of being a sound engineer years ago, glad I didn't go down that road. Playing an instrument or playing with a band is a different matter though. AI isn't going to replace that achievement, fun, camaraderie. I suppose telling Sumo what to make is like being a music producer in the non-technical sense 'add some quiet guitars here'..'make it more upbeat for the chorus' etc. which does have some artistic merit. -
Part of the issue, as far as I can see is that the pickup and the bridge attach to both the extended neck heel and the body of the bass. So changing one angle affects the other two. Ho hum.

Almost exclusively now. Mexican Mustang P/J and Squire Jaguar. For acoustic work, a Taylor mini-bass.

Yes, although it is a Bass VI.
