  4. ***PRICE DROP NOW £1300*** 2010 US Stingray, 2EQ, CAR with rosewood board. One of the limited edition 133 basses, full fat ‘ray but with a soft gig bag case instead of a hard shell job. This is in excellent condition with one very minor ding on the top edge, and the pickguard is quite marked but obviously easily replaceable. Comes with a Hipshot D-tuner (long key though instead of short… doh), if you want the original tuner key I’ll chuck it in. I’ve also replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand MM4.2, which sounds flippin’ great. She’s quite heavy (10lb) but with a decent wide strap it feels ok. ***EDIT*** now comes with the option of a Warwick Rockbass semi-rigid case - photos added. Loathe to post this but can at buyer’s (insured) expense, or can meet in person at either Portsmouth, Southsea, Southampton or Lymington (I’m on the I.O.W.)

  5. I'm still really tempted by this.
  6. All done! Gave the corners a final paint early this morning so I could fit them this afternoon, drilled out the speaker mounting holes, re-dyed the baffle, fitted more wadding inside so that more or less all internal surfaces are covered, cleaned the jack sockets and replaced the wiring, mounted the speaker, and put the grill back on. Finished. I've given it a blast as loud as I dare at home, and the house was rattling. It does sound better than it did, in fact it sounds bloody marvelous with the Bassman. Perhaps it's just me making sure everything was tight and secure, extra internal wadding and the speaker mounted properly, but it's tighter sounding, no rattles and no flub. My intention was to create a recording setup, but I think I could gig this rig! Very happy with this! Cheers, Rob
  7. Fish, 'Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors'. Gorgeous fretless bass by the utterly awesome and much missed John Giblin. The mid/solo section of this track is an absolute highlight.
  8. Bought on a whim, im really not a pedal man. When i have too many knobs to twiddle i spend more time messing than playing. Can send in UK if i can get some packing stuff together. Great working condition and the RPD (ric, precision, drive) labels will pull straight off
  9. I know. But the effective cone diameter of a speaker is roughly 1 ½" to 2" less than the overall diameter - measure diameter across the midline of the suspension roll. 1 ½" off four 5" speakers is a lot more, proportionally than 2" off a 10" speaker. You'd need more than five such smaller speakers to equal the larger one.
  10. You are right. See link here https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/479767-anyone-bought-from-fenderfever/#comment-4983310
  11. The ROLAND KD-8 Kick Pad is a lightweight 8-inch high-quality trigger pad designed for V Drums, featuring a solid durable metal and rubber construction. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to transport and store, making it a versatile option for drummers looking for a reliable and high-quality kick pad to enhance their performance. Designed to replicate the sound and feel of a traditional kick drum. Great condition: tested and in full working order. Will work with all Roland TD modules. Selling due to kit upgrade. Width: 27cm Depth: 26cm Height: 40.5cm Weight: 6 lbs 7oz Only £55. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred.
  12. The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm
  13. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  14. Root beer, if MusicMan. Rickenbacker probably call it turdglo.
  15. 😰 Just up the road too. Oh why do I have to be so ******* skint!
  16. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  17. Which is why I've thoughtfully added a postage option so that potential buyers don't have to suffer the trauma and indignity of visiting the god forsaken place should they choose not to.
  18. Up for grabs is my Protec Contego bass semi rigid case in fantastic condition. A small number of superficial marks from use but it doesn't have any holes and all the zips work perfectly. are currently £158 on Thomann. I'm asking £75 collected from lovely Wellingborough or £85 posted within the UK. I'm looking for a sale, no trades, ta.
  19. I may have mis-remembered? Sorry if I'm getting things mixed up. From memory, the Bass Sniper used to be called the Bass Canon, until Flux Pavilion released his single of the same name on 19th March 2011. Phallic moves are not so well known. unlike more conventional and popular moves you may have used yourself such as the Bus Wiper, where the neck is swayed vertically from high to low at medium pace, or with intermittent regular stops at the top.
  20. This is hella cool and looks awesome but £12K + income tax to the UK is crippling 😬😭 GLWTS though and love to Finnland from us here in UK 🫶🏻 keep on rocking
  21. Hi guys, Very proud, but very sad to be showing my full orange set up. The condition of both the cabinet and the head is near mint. They have only left my studio once to be used for recording. The head was re-valved in September last year by Steven ward a licensed orange repair tech. Since then it’s only been used at band practice. The head comes with a full metal flight case which was around £279 and the 8x10 has the protective orange padded cover that comes with the cab. I can offer delivery UK wide on this, please get in touch for a quote. Reason for sale: I’m opening a training academy for dogs and I need the extra money to fund the launch.
