  2. This is a Thomann laminate bass that has been set up and is ready to play! The story is that I picked up recently from someone who had tried DB and failed. Not from a lack of effort and skill but a terribly set up bass. (I actually went there to buy his bass buggy and ended up with the whole bass.) I’ve had it professionally set up and the action lowered so it’s now a great starter bass. (Bridge fit isn’t perfect, but it’s much better than it was.) The action is low, it sounds good (in a thumpy plywood way). I was going to use this to teach with but I don’t have the space, skill or time to teach so it’s here. It’s a really well built bass that simply needs playing. Personally I’d find a used set of Spiro Weichs and add those and it’ll be a whole new beast. For £499 you get: Bass Case Few books For £35 more I can add a magnetic pickup. This reflects pretty much what I paid, but if you’re stuck for cash and want to try DB we can always work something out. I’m quite proud we’ve fixed up another double bass and it’ll get to be used again. (Hettie used for scale.)

  4. Hi, I haven't had these for long (I used to own both these pedals many years ago, but bought them for the second time recently), but a recent change in musical direction has now made these obsolete. I have about 700€ invested in these and I' m looking to get back 650€ for them which seems reasonable considering the ridiculous prices the seperate pedals go for these days. I'm selling to fund some new hardware and onboard pre-amp for my main axe, so I'm not interested in trades this time, sorry.. Shipping from Belgium. Sales pitch: Up for sale is this magnificant duo of rare pedals made by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The Proton is his take on the Mutron III filter and it doesn't get much funkier than this! The Doom is a unique sounding fuzz that is extremely dynamic and can get supersynthy. When combined these pedals offer a wide variety of funky and synthy sounding tones that are used by lany great artist that are looking to get someyhing "extra" out of their pedalboard (think of Stuart Zenders work with Jamiroquai, Tim Lefebre, Janek Gwizdala,...) Due to the very limited production these are very hard to come by and they keep going up in value, so finding a set like these two is quite a rare opportunity. Both pedals come with the original packaging and can be shipped worldwide. Kind regards, Don
  5. Gammon Everybody! -Eddie Cochran
  6. A real rarity, only one made in the hand painted finish of a run of 25 Vexter Super Dupers. So a real one of one. Includes the zvex power plate, paperwork, box, hair tie, red rag 🤷🏻‍♂️ Works great as a 2 channel boost with a killer distortion, stacks well with other drives. Just a really fun and super loud pedal.
  7. Pork Belly Of The Beast - Anthrax
  8. TBH when I first read crabcore,I was rather hoping for a crustacean equivalent of Hatebeak, the metal band that features an African Grey Parrot called Waldo as lead singer https://youtu.be/VwXKR9EWhXo?si=usx3SUCQS1Kl6r0Z
  9. Wow. It's that bad with bassists in Wokingham you need door staff? Sort of "You can't come in here with that guitar, too many skinny strings" Didn't know that. Stay safe. Rob
  10. I'm pretty sure that Progressive Vegetarian Grindcore was a thing in the early 2000's.
  11. I don't have the knees or back for it. Think I am going to start the new genre chaircore. Potentially stoolcore but that might attract the wrong types
  12. I’d say more Lennon and McCartney. My Shell, My Belle.
  13. I'd see this as a sideways move. I've got my coat and out the door...
  14. I’m genuinely so happy you’ve been reunited with your suhr B5 and things are looking up for you, lovely gesture three, what a great community BC is
  15. Hi, As listed, Boss OC2 ( Taiwan), MXR phase 90 and Korg pitch-black in a Boss BCB 30 pedal board box. Mains adapter and Rean pancake jacks. I'd rather sell complete, £200 collected as the items can be demonstrated. Thanks for viewing Martin

  18. I've just looked at the plans again as something was bothering me. I was wondering why the 274mm measurements on the sides and top and bottom aren't 276mm to make cutting easier. Changing that measurement to 276mm merely extends out the front pieces beyond the baffle by 2mm so it's 12mm rather than 10mm. It has no impact on the volume but it means all pieces can be cut from a strips of ply 276mm wide. I think it also saves at least one cut and possibly two. No more fiddling with a 2mm difference. There are a number of different ways to cut it out of a sheet 1440 x 660mm.My topology skills are limited so I couldn't work out all the permutations. Anything that simplifies things seems a good idea to me. I'm sure I have this wrong but where have I misunderstood? Thanks Rob

  20. Recently took this wonderful Nordstand Power Blade 4 out of one of my P basses as I've been looking for a more vintage tone. The pickup has the black magnets (which have some wear from playing) for the stealth look and has an amazing, punchy modern p tone with a very lovely mid range presence. Can include the black pickup screws that came with it. £80 delivered ono
