Cracking little (very little!) Markbass Micromark 801. 50W on its on or an earth-shattering 60W with an extension speaker. Great practice amp, decent for recording and useful for those 'coffeshop' gigs that we don't have in the UK. Aux input, headphone out, speaker off options for silent practice. Volume and VPF controls - According to the Markbass website, "The VPF (Variable Preshape Filter) boosts lows and highs, and cuts mids. Some call this kind of effect a scoop, a smiley-shape EQ, or an enhance knob. It's very effective for slap bass, pick playing, and driving eighth-note rock." DI out with ground lift button, extension speaker output (min load 8ohm). Bought from this very parish some time last year (?), it's left the house once I think... perfect condition, full working order, sounds good, an easy one finger lift, looks cute... what's not to like? Only selling as some idiot 'accidentally' bought another Markbass combo and even said idiot concedes that four Markbass amps is too many. Collection only from Bewdley, Worcs (DY12) as the same idiot that bought yet another amp recently had a spring clean (in August) and threw out their carefully curated collection of every single cardboard box in the world and gave away enough bubble wrap to cover Luxembourg. Twice. I'm happy to drive a bit to meet up, I'll be in Stratford-upon-Avon a few times over the next few weeks, I'm in Leeds 14th-18th (ish) of August, I'll almost certainly be in Manchester at some point over the next few weeks and there's talk of a day trip to Brighton at some point... happy to meet at a services or even deliver if you're near the right motorway... PM me if any of these options are appealing. That said... if you desperately need to own this but you live too far away to make collection feasible, DM me... I'm sure I could source a suitable box and buy a roll of bubble wrap.

I hope you don’t mind me pointing out that the pickups look like Nordstrands rather than Aguilar. They are however still very good pickups which will give the bass a different flavour over the stock USA Bartolinis. GLWTS.

Xotic Bass X-Blender Mint condition, ordered recently from Germany for a specific studio recording, now surplus. Functioned beautifully as a clean/FX blend. Just as good as their reputation. Hi. I’ve just had a Glockenklang 3 band put into my 2005 BB614 which I bought from Slapmonsta last Dec. He said prev owner Shepster had had the standard preamp modified to include a push/pull volume pot which pops the bass into passive mode. Apart from one older looking pot the shafts on the others look a lot newer with bright looking shafts. Spacing of the B,Mids, Treb pots on the board are 32mm and 32mm. The board says Yamaha QC87550 This is a great option because the Yamaha pickups have legendary power and passive tone. Note - there isn’t Tone control in passive mode but it’s a quality sound and you can blend the pickups for variation anyway. ** The only caveat ( which Slapmonsta kindly alerted me to ) is that with full volume in active mode , when you pull up the knob for passive the volume drops a lot BUT when you roll OFF the volume control just a little , the volume leaps back to match the full volume of active mode. ** None of us (owners) know why this is but it’s easy to roll off the volume. Priced accordingly and includes UK mainland delivery. I have another BB614/5 for sale like this ( another Glock mod ) which is Standard ( No passive ) so you might prefer that and it has the vol and blend larger knobs with it ( £30 inc delivery ). Hi everyone. Update June 28th. Also now for sale , same Yamaha preamp QC87550 but with push/pull Passive option on the Vol pot - thats for £40 inc deliv, please see other posting for that one. Just moving this Standard preamp on at minimal price , kindly donated by Basschatter Lloydy when I bought his Pewter Beauty not long ago. Also fits a BB615, same 32mm spacing between the shafts on the board. Full working order before Lloydy replaced it with a Glock 3 Band. I include two original larger ( 20mm high 18.3mm diam and 6mm shaft hole ) heavy chrome knobs with new O rings in each. I havent got the full 20 yr service history but the Vol Blend splined pot shafts are 5.85mm outside diam but knobs tighten up OK with allen key. ( The Bass Mid Treb splined shafts are 6.0mm ) The fixed shafts on the board are 32mm centres x 2. The securing nuts and washers are there. Jack socket too. Photo now added. One split shaft crimped up - an ill fitting push on knob I remember - the two allen keyed chrome knobs included are from another BB614 I have ( bought some of those Hipshot lightweight ones from BD - £8 each! ) . So, £30 including UK mainland postage. Apart from seeing one pot is 500k on the photos I can’t help you with any other electronic specs. Cheers. Quent

Hi, These are still for sale ( March 2025 ) I took these tuners off my 2016 Spector NT4 and replaced with Gotoh Gold GB707 , hence photo to show Drop In compatibility. Just home use by myself for a few months ( I bought bass new in 2018) before putting the gold set on. So excellent condition and very little use. They’ve cleaned up as well as the other same size set I’m now selling (£45) on here , just no Spector Logo on these. The diagram dimensions are accurate in the photo. I have digital calipers.
