Independently footswitchable clean boost + VLE (low pass filter) and VPF (a bit like a 'contour' control, scooping mids while boosting low/highs). Standard TS output plus balanced DI output (XLR). Original MarkBass power supply included (but it works fine on standard 9V supplies - I used it for years with a T-Rex Junior supply, you just get a bit more headroom if powwered at 12V) Bypass can be buffered or true-bypass (switch at the bottom).

I don't know who originally made it but I've had it a couple of years and added a Thunderbird neck and Rickenbacker 5 string pickup. Has a KiOgan wiring loom and the cavities have copper conductive tape. Paint job - not good - Halfords finest put on too quickly and not sanded down. Top is finished with a vinyl wrap (which doesn't hide the paint inconsistencies underneath). Great if you want that 'Rat' look. Fits the Thunderbird neck I also have listed.

Does it need to be said? Does it need to be said by me? Does it need to be said now? Not really, no, no. -
The sh** show that is Royal mail / ParcelForce

The lesson to take from this is to monitor what's happening to your parcel. If the package is time-sensitive, you need to be proactive if there's a delay. If your parcel hasn't left the Post Office, it should be obvious almost immediately from the tracking info. Also, the Chorley depot has a phone number you can use. I once sent a cabinet off to a customer who wanted it for a gig on the Saturday. It was supposed to be delivered on the Friday but wasn't. So, I called the depot and persuaded them to deliver that day rather than waiting until Monday. It think it might well have been the Chorley depot. -
First year, radio knobs, long poles… Mental price though 😊

Those he had in were collector grade so a premium is expected. I’ve not seen many in such as new condition and they seem to have sold well.

Yamaha bb414, I picked this up on here a while back. Has an issue with pickup selection. It plays in the p position but not p&j or j. I swapped out the switch with a new witchcraft selector switch. But alas its the same. I think it might be the jack socket. But im basically resigned myself to only playing jazz nut width. So this is up for what I paid, £150. I can post it but will need to be neck off and boxed up.

Tried the Ampeg SCR-DI and it sounded very good but I felt the Scrambler tone sucked the bass out! Today the Digbeth pedal arrives so will try that out

Appreciate they’re not Fenders but it seems Andy Baxter has decided that vintage Musicmans are now worth £3000 that they were a few months ago. Wish he’d have done that before I sold mine… 🙂

*Selling price adjusted to £450* Bergantino Super Pre up for sale, boxed with instructions and power supply. I have used the pre In my band going in ears by placing it on a small table, rather than placing it on the floor. It therefore doesn't have any velcro attachments & is in an excellent condition. The only thing I had to do when I purchased it was update the firmware, there are also a few speaker profiles uploaded as well. The sound quality and build is excellent, just what you would expect from Jim Bergantino. Collection from Teesside is preferred, although happy to post out.
