Yeah I found a great seat but also had to buy two which went up to £850 ! (Before admin & insurance)

I managed to find a single seat (albeit further away) but still the most I’ve ever paid for a gig lol  Manchester AO

I love Rush, especially the first decade of stuff.  Saw them way back when in Leeds (Permanent Waves tour?) but haven't ventured to repeat.  I'm afraid I hate arena gigs these days, they leave me cold and uninvolved so I doubt I'll make an exception this time around.

I was frustrated by this on my first attempt. There were 5 of us that wanted to go on the Thursday. When I logged in, there were 5 left in one row in a reasonable position and I stuck them all in my cart thereby selling out the row. It wouldn’t let me do it for the same reason. Well, the warning was the same, but it didn’t matter how I edited my basket, it wouldn't let me buy them. I ended having to come out and go back in again to do it another way 🤷‍♂️

A mate of mine got four seated at London O2 for £105 each. Said seating on floor was £450 going down to £320 as you hit further away.

They’re both 72, health issues go with that territory. Alex has had arthritis for ages. The neckerchief? He’s an artiste, darling . At least I hope that’s all it is. Geddy has been wearing a scarf for years, maybe Alex wants in on that action?

I agree, dynamic pricing is ridiculous, and my thoughts are that I won’t purchase tickets for anything where this is applied.

Yes, me too, but Rush are one of the few I make an exception for.

Plus, I made the effort to get early access reducing the damage slightly.

Regarding ticket prices in general , when I did go to gigs I always went for the most expensive ticket whenever I could .

When I saw Rush at the London o2 clockwork angels tour , I had to let my friend get the tickets . I told him to buy the dearest ..but he purchased the slightly cheaper ones.

This meant that although at ground level , we could only see half of the  backing orchestra 🤦‍♂️Idiot ! My last time seeing Rush 😮‍💨🙂
