Machines Posted Wednesday at 10:07 Posted Wednesday at 10:07 I did last year demoing for Darkglass which was fun. Will be there this year again both days, mostly on BassDirect stand :). Quote
visog Posted Wednesday at 10:23 Posted Wednesday at 10:23 Website is terrible and it doesn't look auspicious for bass given the GUITAR! (and bass) show promotion. Quote
Jackroadkill Posted Wednesday at 20:10 Posted Wednesday at 20:10 Last year the top floor was set aside for bass (and the performance area, I suppose, which was full of widdly guitarists and their 12,000 pedals, but we don't talk about them). I'm hoping for the same this year. 1 Quote
walshy Posted Thursday at 06:58 Posted Thursday at 06:58 Yeah I will be there ( Vintage Bass Room ) with @AndyTravis and a plethora of basses and amps/merch. Don't be put off by The Guitar Show, they are contained to downstairs while the cool bass cats have the upstairs to themselves, completely widdle-free! Its a very cool couple of days and plenty of Bass stuff, Bass Direct, Ashdown, Spector, Dingwall... As soon as I have a confirmed list of who's exhibiting I will pop it on here. Come by and say hello if you're coming 4 Quote
snorkie635 Posted Thursday at 08:13 Posted Thursday at 08:13 All BC folks signed up to the Abstinence Thread must attend by order of the Committee. @neepheid 1 Quote
rwillett Posted Thursday at 08:27 Posted Thursday at 08:27 If @neepheid is going to the show. I'll need to make sure I'm away that weekend lest he entice me into bad ways such as buying things 😊 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted Thursday at 10:27 Posted Thursday at 10:27 Might well drag myself along this year Quote

Is that any worse though, than the sound of multiple cutlery drawers being flung down a stone stair well which is the default noise produced at bass shows? 1 3 Quote

Come by and say hello if you're coming Last year I ventured downstairs for a look round, and it's a good job I did because that's where ACG were lurking. I might have missed them completely otherwise. I have a busy gig weekend this year alas, so I won't be going. Quote

Yeah that was a strange one, hopefully they can sort that and get them upstairs where they belong Quote
AlexDelores Posted Thursday at 18:35 Posted Thursday at 18:35 I’ll be going on the Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed last year. 🙏 2 Quote
skelf Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hi I will be downstairs again in my usual spot. Been going to the Birmingham show for many years and have always done it with my friend Haydn Williams a guitar builder. It is very helpful to have someone that can look after the shop if either of us has to leave. I will not be in the bass room upstairs so please drop by if you want to see what I have available to try and buy. Alan 3 Quote
