I remember when the cat knocked a guitar neck off a shelf and it landed headstock down about an inch from my QC, nearly needed to change my trousers. Our guitarist uses a nano cortex for his new metal cover band into the return on his JCM800, he was comparing the capture with the amp at practice and aside from slight level differences it was practically perfect. I still think they dropped the ball by missing out an FX loop, makes the pitch stuff pretty useless if you want a drive pedal on your board. The anagram is a hell of a lot more power though if you need it. And the I/O is incredible. There’s a nano cortex at a good price near me on a local FB group and I’d be tempted as a way to capture my core sound and shirk my board down but then I think well I can just bring my board and save £300ish quid. I’ve a couple of core pedals (mostly my tube preamp) and I’d hate anything to happen on a gig but we’re reasonable well protected from the masses but some doofus managed to drop a pint on the ‘stage area’ last gig and it got me thinking. I do think the NC is a tidy wee box and as I’m only really using clean or drive tones and some IR it would be a nice addition. 2 Quote
woodyratm Posted Friday at 09:46 Posted Friday at 09:46 I bought the NC recently and it had weird problems getting stuff working. Capturing failed, captures not loading, failing to connect often, Controlling everything via phone was slightly awkward too. When it behaved, it sounded okay. But it was so flakey that I returned. Maybe mines was just gammy. Baffled me since I’ve had a QC for donkeys but the NC just felt awkward for me. YMMV obvs. 2 Quote
Chadu25 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I sent a new FX block proposal to Ivan from Darkglass proposing a synth fx block idea. It's basically the same blueprint of Entropia but synth engine where you can play around with LFO, Filters, Dirt, Sine waves to achieve classic synth tones. Just like how Entropia has different templates, same with Synthropia where you can achieve song ready synth tones like what you hear on Stevie's boogie on reggae woman, PYT, 24k Magic , moog related sounds and then tweak parameters to further improve your desired tone. The icon I made is just a quick render during my break at work. I just matched the same design elements in the Anagram's fx block icons. I really hope they have something synth related lined up in the future. 3 Quote

I wonder how much trouble you could cause by taking your professional looking image and sticking on the other bass forum and Facebook groups with "have you seen this - so looking forward to it" type comments .... 1 Quote

Willing to go through the trouble if it will be an opportunity for me to be hired as a graphic designer or UI artist in their team! Ivan did reply and said he will forward it to the team but no promises. Still hopeful like how Q started the Origin Effects B15 petition which have been already in development. tayste_2000 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I believe Subdecay contacted them as most of his new pedals (Noise Theory, Pixelwave, M3000) are basically software in a stomp. So I’m hoping they could be ported and be the first they add to an “app store” style system. 2 Quote
Greg Edwards69 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’ve just seen this case on Thomann. Thought it could be useful to a few of us who don’t use the supplied PSU. https://www.thomann.co.uk/thomann_bag_darkglass_anagram.htm 2 Quote
