Playing songs in a covers band you dont always like.?

Tab is bars with the strings on. The Cage Song is 120 bars odd of rests. Depending on what tempo you play it at. 

Think you might be taking it a bit too seriously.

Surely it doesn’t make any difference what tempo you (don’t) play it at - it’s 120 bars*. The only difference the tempo makes is that it will take you more or less time (not) to play it than the 4’33” of the title.
 

 

 

 

 

*Or however many bars are in the piece.

But that's not true is it. We're talking covers bands, ergo drunken covers band crowds. And it is an immutable law that regardless of what song the band is playing, the crowd are all dancing to the beat of In the Summer Time by Mungo Jerry.
