It's another example of a burst with almost no blending between the black and the red.

I see what you’re saying there, I do look at the bursts colours as they vary quite a bit, the 75 he has doesn’t look very good to me, a 66 near me looks well sprayed I think

That's a nice one. Some are so pronounced they call them target bursts.

A 63P going up on the 14th

Oh no! Must not even look at this, too late, and there's loads of other guitars as well. Damm, another morning of work lost wondering if I can justify an vintage Fender. I do like the look of the 57 Strat, but I know nothing about these things.

Looks like this one turned out to be a 72 and not a 68 as they thought

The hammer price for this was £2,300 so it looks like the dubious provenance didn’t influence the outcome.

Quite a bargain in the end! With all the extra costs, what will the buyer end up handing over to take it home?

Had a chat with these guys today and they have some great stuff. Mostly guitar, but this Precision looks like a beauty.

No price listed on the website but from conversations it’ll be a similar price to that auction.

No price for anything they have listed. I find that super annoying and it would stop me bothering to look on their site. Irrational on my part, I know.

ATB have recently put up a lovely 64 jazz with matching headstock, so nice

This is where I bought my ‘73 P last year. Mike is good to deal with. I would love that Jazz, but it’s way out of my price range.
