Take care on those steps !!

i'll txt Chris for an update on the venue conditions , but the small estate roads by me are clear though the grass areas have a couple of inches on them , I'm about 10 miles away

The North West Wales Massive are bowing out. We love bass, but not enough to be stuck in snow or getting intimate with a wall. Of course, the weather will be fine, but we would look silly if not.

That's a shame Owen , thanks for letting us know

Ah guys, I'm going to have to bail out as well. Gutted. Never been to one of these before. How often do you hold them?

Every year.

I got to play some fabulous basses and meet some talented dudes. It was a great afternoon. Thanks to Kev, Lurksalot and Chris, Funkgod, for organising it. I'm looking forward to attending again next year.

Some lovely pics there Alan :drinks:

A very enjoyable afternoon spent in great company, it was brilliant both catching up and meeting some new faces.

Some lovely kit to see and play with and very clever design and build amplification set up from mottlefeeder .

Some great A/B sound testing and some head scratching with regards working out which controls did what :$

there were some lovely tones from a collection of rig/ bass combinations and then of course Tommo's rig ^_^

Now that takes some dedication to lug around :D and we missed the photo op of Vinnies scene stealer through the fridgeB|

it was a shame we lost Owen and Redd to the weather , though the small but quality and friendly crew who were there made for  a few marvellous hours of bassery.

Hopefully some more photos to follow later from me

To echo what the others have already said, I had a great time. It was great to meet a bunch of bass players with all sorts of backgrounds and interests, and play some really lovely and diverse gear. Thanks all for a great time. See you next year!

Firstly, can I say that I too really enjoyed the day, and add my thanks to those who organised it.

That amp has an HPF, and an LPF and no other EQ. The power stage is a 10W @ 8ohms or 20W @ 4ohms class D stereo amp available on ebay. With the internal 12V 2AHr battery (common in burglar alarms) and one cab, it will run all night at an acoustic open mic night, and with a 7AHr(scooter battery), it will run with two speakers for several hours, in a band with mic'd acoustic guitars and vocals and one or two conga players.

I'm happy to share - but first I need to find a replacement for Photobucket - Am I right in thinking I can link to pictures in Dropbox?
