dannybuoy
What kind of hard cases are you guys using for you guys using for your micro amps? Just picked up a Darkglass M900 (26.7 x 23 x 6.4 cm / 10.5 x 9.05 x 2.52 in) and don't want to pay £85 for the official bag which doesn't look all that great. I'm after something with a bit more protection like a hard case with foam, before I search and wade through the possibilities does anyone have any solid recommnedations? TIA
BassBunny
Maplin is your friend here. They do a number of Aluminium Cases with foam interiors that you can easily customise to the size you want. Price varies from £25 -£35. I've got 2 of them. https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/small-flight-case-with-foam-interior-n50fu
Osiris
You can't go wrong with a decent laptop bag, especially if you can get your hands on one of the old fashioned brief case style ones. I've got one and it is way more sturdy and has more protection and padding than any of the overpriced official amp bags that I've seen. It's probably not as sturdy as a hard case but for loading in and out of the car it's more than man enough for the job. I cart my wireless system about in a Stanley plastic drill case that is lined with foam and the has lasted for over 10 years without cracking or breaking. I seem to recall the DG amp is quite diddy so you might be able to squeeze it into something similar? Cuzzie
Danny, I used the DJ mix bag from Fusion bags for it. It's really sturdy, waterproof covering and will fit in all your cables. They have a sale on https://www.fusion-bags.com/collections/sale

Now if one sees it they must think I have an ancient and useless computer in there, stuffed with leads and straps as it is.

yorks5stringer
Sorry to repeat myself from a post elsewhere..... but why not just get one of these? More than adequate cushioning, good to look at and on trend for stagewear....

dannybuoy
Thanks everyone, I've ordered the Maplin one. I have plenty of space for cables elsewhere, I just want something compact that can survive being knocked about in the back of a van!
