pantherairsoft
Here's one of the noises I get when using everything on it... http://soundcloud.com/bassg/gjobwbass1
I like. Quite Ring-Mod sounding actually from the Murf. Stick one of your banging drum tracks under it and BOOM!
xgsjx
The Murf can get some very unusual fx. I hardly ever use it for it's sequencer, but love it for the filters & LFO setting. The bassline is part of a collaborated project on a Facebook page called Organic Bass Wobble. One of the members there posted a beat & is going to do all the editing & mixing (with a video too). I was trying to add you to the page, but my FB knowledge is limited & don't know if it's only admin that can do it. Here's another from the same... http://soundcloud.com/bassg/gjobwbass3
pantherairsoft
Cool - I'll have a look-see! I saw Janek Gwizdala last week and he was using a Moog Ring Mod in a way I hadn't tried, very interesting. Gave me a few new ideas to play with! I tried to lighten it up a little and made it worse!). Better pics soon... Having just rehearsed with this, I am very very happy. The Pitchfactor has opened loads of door for me while still doing everything the Whammy DT did (that I used on it anyway!)... Had a few folks asking about my signal chain and stuff via PM recently, so rather than keep typing this out, here is what I'm running (brace yourselves): (Bass) > Stageclix wireless receiver > Boss OC-2 Octave > TC Electronics Polytune (after OC-2 as the wireless doesn't like going into a true bypass pedal!) > Input of Boss LS-2 Line Selector > ----- LS-2 Channel 1 send > --- Moogerfooger MF-107 FreqBox (Moog EP-2 connected to Frequency) > --- Zvex Mastotron (Bypass Looper switch 1) > --- WMD Geiger Counter (Bypass Looper switch 2) > --- Tone Factor Fuzz Saw (Bypass Looper switch 3) > --- 3Leaf Audio Groove Regulator (Bypass Looper switch 4) > --- Boss PN-2 Tremolo/Pan (Bypass Looper switch 5) > --- Eventide Pitchfactor (Connected to Ernie Ball VP JR Pedal) > --- Moogerfooger MF-102 Ring Modulator (MP-201 connected to Frequency) > --- Moogerfooger MF-103 12-Stage Phaser > --- Moogerfooger MF-108M Cluster Flux (MP-201 connected to Rate) > --- Moogerfooger MF-101 Low Pass Filter (MP-201 connected to Cut-Off) > ----- LS-2 Channel 1 return > ----- LS-2 Channel 2 send > --- EBS Unichorus > ----- LS-2 Channel 2 return > Boss LS-2 Line Selector Output > Boss DD-20 Giga Delay > > (EBS 1v2 Pre amp, Crown XTi 1000 Power amp, Barefaced Big Twin T) And breathe... pantherairsoft
The Pitchfactor is fun! Think my ToneFactor Fuzz Saw will be going soon. Got it this week, but it's just not my sound - sounds amazing on a clean bass, but not quite 'me' on my Octave down tone. Very happy with everything else. Think I'm going to bug mcgraham for my old BMS back though
Sibob
Here's V.4 of my 'dubstep' board: Recent additions are the Source Audio BEF w/ Hot Hand & the Boss tuner, which I'm essentially using as a quick killswitch when I have the Volume on the ME50b in Whammy mode. Audio samples real soon Si
RichF
nice - I like how so many are gravitating toward a dubstep set up. Shows that we all love an instrument that remains relevant and evolving. I have a wired hot hand not a wireless, that will be next.

xgsjx
Yeah man. I want a BEF & HH & use it in front of the Moog LPF (so I can sweep what the HH does). Whether that ever happens tho.....
woodyratm
This got cabled up today. I need some expression pedals - but they can sit off board. I will be adding more george l's once i get around to buying more. pretty impressed with the noises now!* *until I want more stupidity again

Higgie
Nice board. How do you find the Octamizer? I wonder if it would do a better job than the EBS one that I use? I run my Sadowsky at the start of the signal chain, how come you run yours at the end? Is the Loopmaster Patcher purely for tidiness purposes?
Gone from this: To this: Sorry for the picture quality, it was taken with my 4th Gen iPod Touch. (Is it just me who thinks they rave on about having an awesome camera, yet whenever you take pics with them they turn out looking sh*te?) Moved the Sadowsky Pre-amp to the front of the chain, and added some more pedals! Now includes a Tonefactor Bass 442, Subdecay Prometheus, Subdecay Baby Quasar, and an Analogman Mini Chorus with fixed Deep switch. deej
Loving it! I havnt seen a Cream Pie in ages. Just dusted mine off recently to give it another try. I've had a little splurge lately and im waiting for a couple of pedals to arrive. Hopefully get a new pic up soon.
Higgie
My favourite OD. I've had it for AGES now. I've had it longer than everything else on the board!
BigBassBob
I agree with you on Apple's advertisement of their "advanced" integrated cameras; my Iphone's camera is far worse than my trust old Sony Ericsson. I have found that using an aftermarket camera app helps a lot with it (I think I'm using one called Camera+ atm.) Tasty looking board btw dude

Thor
So here's my modest board at the moment: Just need to have a rethink to find space for Brown Dog & Agent 00Funk, I've also got an old EHX Octave Multiplexer which I quite like the Sub functionality - Hmm? Ghost_Bass
My current setup: Signal chain from right to left!
blind pilot
Here is my latest effort, As we have now moved to a full on Tool tribute act, It only seemed 'right' that I copy Mr chancellors board! Now I still have not finished my Overdriver pedal, which will go on after the RAT, and I still have to buy a Boss GEB 7 to fatten things up on the dirty side. I have a nice Dunlop Wah I am building a fuzz into too! I love it! Just needs some more George L's though, like another 13 plugs
Bazeley
Heres a pic of my little pedalboard. I used to have a load more pedals but got rid of them since i didnt use them. So from Left to right: (My friends EHX Metal muff with top boost) MXR KFK 10 band eq (2 outputs) MXR Fullbore Metal Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus Boss TU-2 Tuner. Plus: EXH 44 magnum power amp, for small practices Dunlop DC Brick. Its a very simple setup but suits me fine and i can get a range of great tones from this. The Voodoo especially sounds great! Jacqueslemac
I saw Amplifier last night at Colchester Arts Centre. Brilliant gig and a very friendly, approachable band. When they were setting up, it two two people to carry each of the three pedalboards on stage! I counted 22 pedals on Neil Mahony's (bass player) board, and one of those was a multi-effects pedal.
