I like it - because firstly you notice that it's got seven strings, then you notice the fretboard is like an aircraft carrier, then you notice it's got an automotive-style metallic paint job... and finally you notice it's a single cut. Nicely done!! :)

Not sure about that old hippy though... [sexism] should have got a nubile young bird in a bikini to model it... [/sexism] ;)

never liked the look of them, and i really think they add nothing tonally. maybe structurally they add a feel to the neck you can't get with a DC.. i just think its bass construction over design.. i think the design of a bass is coming its limits, and has been for a while. i think the builders only have so much to go on to improve. i think perfection comes from construction, not new ideas. the music has the new ideas, not the instrument.
