Yes. I was thinking a sympathetic body refin could be in order... would need a relic to match the rest of it, though. :D

It says in the description that it had been painted orange over the original blonde finish so i guess that's why someone decided to strip it.

But if it really has been untouched for the last 35 years then all the refinishing happened when it wasn't vintage or anything special - just old and second hand.
