My main guitar - Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro Elite. They were always seen as a poor-mans PRS
Are you kidding me? Have you seen the used prices on Ebay? I don't know of any poor man who could afford one of these, let alone a PRS....;)

Here's one I picked up today. I'm a bit gushy over it at the moment so will keep the hyperbole under control...

It's Yammie's own take on the Floyd Rose called an RM Pro - standard issues on MSG Deluxes and Customs. I'm struggling to put the thing down to be honest, there are so many nice noises to make out of it. The low output was because I had the humbuckers split. When both humbuckers are on full, its like a very good Les Paul.

My brand new custom built Fylde 'Ariel' acoustic. 0/parlour guitar body size. Ordered Sept 2012, complete November 2013. Received at 10am this morning... utterly incredible. Never seen an acoustic guitar like it, and I've tried everything from Avalons to Lowdens to Taylors to Collings - simply stunning.

Specs for those that care...
24.75" scale length
Mahogany Neck
Rosewood back and sides
Cedar top
No front dots
Double binding on edges, front and back
Same style for the rosette
Blackwood fingerboard
LR Baggs Anthem pickup (blendable mic + piezo pickup)
Now that is really rather superb.

Just got this back after having a full clean-up, setup, entirely new wiring and pickups and some locking Sperzels. Sounds absolutely lovely:

I bought it new from the Eggle factory in Coventry in 1996/97 for the sum of £1250. 2nd hand prices for the same instrument today is circa £800 but a replacement from Eggle as a customer oder (the model is no longer manufactured) would be circa £2500!!! I guess the same era PRS would be a lot more that £1250 at the time, and certainly more than the £800 used. They are one of the guitar world's best kept open secrets!

...the Eggles were hugely underrated and just as nice as PRS, just poor timing ensured they didn't do better IMO ...
Sadly Eggle didn't do themselves any favours when they elected to bypass their dealer network and offer the instruments to sale directly to the customer at a saving of several hundred pounds, meaning that dealers were left with no option but to further reduce guitars they were already taking a loss on and Eggle had no good-will in the industry.

Great thread for GAS sufferers....

Now I am doing more bass than guitar, I only have 2 partscaster Strat / Tele hybrids left that I made up from aftermarket hardtail bodies, fiesta red nitro paint and Fender 62 reissue MIJ necks. Lovely. Apart from that I have a beautiful Aria Sandpiper acoustic. The only acoustic I have managed to get on with, nice arched back and relatively thin body (the cat plays well too...)

Interested to see the Eggle posts - here's mine. Made April 1993 when the factory was still in Coventry. In those days you could still walk round the factory and choose your own bits of wood, as well as asking for specific little tweaks (the neck on mine was shaved a mm or so thinner than normal at my request). This is actually a Plus. Cost me £750 from what was then Musical Exchanges in Snow Hill. This was my main gigging guitar throughout the 90's (along with my trusty black Strat of course  ). Always used to draw nice comments from fellow players who'd never seen one before. Anyway, here it is...

Very nice, never heard of the Koch pedal before but it looks very interesting from the information I've found.

I love it, have 2 of them. with it it almost doesn't matter what amp comes after it to get my sound.
