Nibody
Just bought a set of Trad P-bass split coils from wizzard because I fancied something Nice in my bitsa-precision. Has anyone else used Wizzards and how do you rate them compared to say Seymours? They do sound a lot better than the cruddy things that were in it before. Kiwi
Andy can always do you something that suits if one of the standard offerings doesn't. I love the pickups, they're very honest.
EssentialTension
I had some Wizard 64s in my Squier CV Jazz. They did the trick nicely and relatively cheaply.
mike257
Got a Thumper and an 84 in my souped-up Squier, sound fantastic and Andy provides excellent customer service too.
Nibody
I have to say I was highly impressed with (a)The quality of the pickups, (b)The price and (c)The delivery time. They came nicely presented too - was just like Christmas last night when I unpacked and fitted them. I will definately be ordering from Andy again! apa
Lol Ive got thumpers in a P and 64's in a J and for the money you cant beat them. But the icing is definetly the packaging. Hand written ID and red paper in a nice little box. All very personal. Theres lovely now A
Muzz
Yep, got Thumper and 84 in my Franken-P, and my Warwick Fortress. Love em. Only disappointed Andy can't do anything for my Fenderbird.
Low End Bee
Got a Thumper in my Precision. Very pleased with the balance between output 'thump' and clarity. I've also had Precisions with a Dimarzio model P, SD SPB1 vintage and SB2 hot pickups. The Wizard is my favourite for retaining the Precision sound whilst adding a bit of oomph. Sounds great on recording. Great service too.

LiamPodmore
I'm planning on adding a Wizard Thumper to my GSR200. Not sure what to put in the bridge though. Wonder if they'd do me a set with a Thumper and the double jazz bridge pickup they do, that sounds like it could be fun. Liam
Monckyman
How would a Thumper and Trad set compare?

Muzz
That's what he said when asked. I believe someone else on here had the same reply about a Thunderbird pickup. As I say, it's a shame. In fact, here's his reply verbatim: "We've tried to make one up to your dimensions and sadly it doesn't sound good - so don't think this will really be feasable - sorry." dave_bass5
Another Wizard user here. 74's in my CV Jazz and a Thumper in and out of my CV P. I say in and out because ive had a problem fitting it in. It seems to be slightly too big to fit both PG's ive had on the bass. I did manage to file one PG down but at the moment i have a black PG and i really couldn't be bothered filing this down so im using a Fender 62RI (Original) pup in it at the moment, which seems tofit in fine. Both sound pretty close anyway but i will use the Thumper again one day.
