xgsjx Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 A couple of us had considered holding a bash in Central(ish) Scotland last year, like Falkirk, Stirling or Perth. But I think everyone was too busy. I was gonna try & organise something, but I got too busy with work & personal life. Never been able to make the Moffat bash (though I'd love to go sometime). xgsjx Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 If I had the time, I'd love to sort out a Central Bass Bash. But as things are just now, I just don't get the time. I'd have to fight just to get to one as my work is random hours & I'm in the process of trying to redecorate the entire house, fit a new kitchen, demolish the garden, help the Mrs with her business & on top of that, I'm trying to do my bits for our wedding in April. JohnFitzgerald Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 I went to Moffat once to pick up a bike he'd bought. It had a dead Alternator, so the battery was continually discharging. Consequently, he had to ride it home as fast as it would go whilst there was still juice in the battery. It was a Kawasaki Z1000. Hoo boy, that was quick. I'll come too if that's ok.
