We want technical drawings of how things are linked & a video of how you're using the software etc! Cracking job by the way. I'm listening to it at work & enjoying it. EddieG
One of my friends, Scotty Donald, is doing live looping just like this, and it is the absolute bollocks! He's doing everything from trip-hop, dn'b, dubstep, all sorts of nutty stuff. Check out some of his videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/scottydrumbass He's also doing stuff with a band called Man's Ruin, which is a mashup of Celtic music, funk and jazz. Think he's got some videos on his page from when they did a BBC Radio Scotland live broadcast. This was his first wee experiment using the Roland SPDS, and a scaled down set-up. What are the other two expression pedals for?
they can be synced to anything on the M9 or anything in ableton but for this little demo i just used one of the pedals to change the synth sound, octave sweep and reverb if they were selected.the other was for the rate of lfo which was set so was just used for off and on... but i now have one on mix and one on rate of lfo through ableton and the other two can be used for M9 so can be assigned to anything on there second video is being recorded as we speak...will post up asap...nice one for all the wicked comments... www.fattybassman.com COMING SOON also check out my other project..... www.submotion.co.uk
EskimoBassist
Really, really impressed. Can't believe you've managed all this with just an M9 and Ableton, especially to be played live like this. Great work.
