i had a chance see this one, and i ve to say thats a really really incredible instrument ,looks yummy , great price too!!
btw David, got any 6 strings bass somewhere in your arsenal?

Cool bass.

If the bridge is not allowing any lower action you could file the bridge saddles down to compensate. I did this on an old Jazz bass and it gave lots of adjustment after I took maybe 5mm out of the saddles. The saddles are easy to replace if you wanted to reverse the operation.
