  1. GLWTS,, how many amazing basses do you have Ovi ๐Ÿ˜
  2. ... the Velcro come pre-attached, but I use Dual Lock. Donโ€™t think itโ€™d close very well with dual lock on. Either way I think the idea is really good ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  3. lol, it never ends does it. I'm learning myself not to say 'This is it now' as it'll always change in the end ๐Ÿ˜ I'm loving the mini QuarterMaster. Has anyone seen this new board yet? https://www.musicradar.com/news/daddario-has-released-an-expandable-pedalboard-called-the-xpnd
  4. ... if I ever built a bass Iโ€™d want to have this attention to detail, really impressed and a lovely result ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  5. ... got these two replies from Music Tribe when I enquired: ...and... The user settings (Serial/Build number) are in fact held in the flash memory, I have just received confirmation that the missing serial number issue cannot be resolved once it occurs. In this instance please do not remove the serial number from your physical unit. This will not effect any loaded Toneprints and they will still be held on the unit when powered off. I hope this helps. So a rare event that wonโ€™t stop anything. All ok then ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  6. ... well I bought one over a year ago with the view to it being my main pedal. Mmm, well if you ask the missus if that plan happened she might have something to say about it!! Iโ€™ve now got 3 boards built, 3 empty boards and no gigs for a while ha ha!! I guess you could try to emulate whatever effects you used before, a good starting point. A little hint (you well may already know this one), when you use a looper or Poly Sustain have them at the end of then chain of 8 blocks, then when you change sounds the original set drone or loop wonโ€™t be affected. However if you want to see how tweaking the parameter controls alters the sound, have the looper block at the start, play a bit, then but your bass down when the loop is playing and tweak to your hearts content ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  7. ... cheers Stub Mandrel, I had to look up what EEPROM was lol. Your insight is interesting as it's not an area I've been involved with. I've posed the question to TC Electronic (via Music Tribe) and I'll see what they come up with, I somehow don't expect it be as a technical explanation as you have put ๐Ÿ‘ Peace.
  8. Lol, love it ๐Ÿ˜
  9. Cheers, my older one shows up all fine (both build and serial no.) just the new to me one doesnโ€™t. Still works fine so Iโ€™ll put it down to a glitch somewhere along the line. Thanks for your reply anyhow ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  10. I've also posted this in the Repair and Technical section, not sure if it's better in this one ๐Ÿ˜ Hey folks, I thought Iโ€™d ask other Spectracomp users on here. Iโ€™ve got two Spectracomps, one recently bought used. When using the Toneprint Editor the older unit shows itโ€™s serial number properly in the settings menu, whereas the more recently acquired one only shows โ€˜-1โ€™. Iโ€™ve updated this newer ones firmware to the latest 706 (from 606) version, and it still shows the odd serial no. The pedal seems to work fine and can load Toneprints as expected, so itโ€™s not an issue so to speak, but is this just a glitch or have other owners had a similar experience? Please see the screenshot of the editor below: Peace.
  11. ... beautiful wick there Ovi ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  12. ... love it Ovi. Hope youโ€™re doing well. Peace ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  13. Recently bought a Bright Onion custom pedal that will go very nicely with my HX Stomp ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. All good from my end, would easily deal with again. Cheers Gareth.

  15. ... they are the less expensive TC Electronic pedals I think. Seem like great value to me, e.g: https://www.gak.co.uk/en/tc-electronic-afterglow-chorus-pedal/903347?gclid=CjwKCAiAxeX_BRASEiwAc1QdkZAeiZDdcxWRPZo4q7hKWaxnC3T5RJa-WApZ6apDVy3tPLC4zXYLPBoCdLkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  16. .... I might get one of those patch bays boxes, seems like a good idea. Nice build you have done, Iโ€™m always amazed at how long they take though lol!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. ... Iโ€™ve noticed youโ€™re using a Metro (flat design) with the DC7 directly underneath the Stomp. The Stomp itself can get warm, along with the DC7 also getting warm and less airflow (potentially) around the DC7 due to the tighter clearances could lead to the overall temp to be higher.
  18. .... I run a stomp from a Cioks DC7 and it does get warm, but not hot if you know what I mean. ... the space bottom right is for an incoming foot switch ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  19. Nice one, I liked them both equally tbh! Iโ€™ve got 2 OC2 pedals, one with each type of chip set in and I canโ€™t tell the difference between those two really. This OC5 kinda adds to that mix, not identical but close enough in a mix to keep people grooving ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  20. ... I bought one at the start of the year with the โ€˜issueโ€™. Sent it back as it was really noticeable, it produced a weird artifact after the note ended and didnโ€™t sound owt like the YT demos. If it was an ok unit I would have kept it gladly. GLWTS as itโ€™s a classic sound in a small package ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  21. ... I just bought one of the Cioks adaptors and it works fine powering my Stomp from 2 of itโ€™s 9V outputs.
  22. Beautiful workmanship and woods ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  23. Hey all, I recently sold my Sfx Micro Thumpinator to Jan over in the Czech Republic, and apart from a slight delay in it getting to him (courier issue) it was all great. He had very good and quick comms, paid what I asked no problems and was generous enough to offer to pay postage again due to an issue that thankfully didn't arise. No problems at all dealing with Jan and I'd recommend anyone to deal with him. Thanks for the sale. Peace,
