I’ve managed to squeeze riffs from the trooper, the obligatory joker riff, another brick in the wall, montsegur ( iron maiden), doctor who, the monkees, Bon jovi, and more into worship songs at church. I was the leader of the team, so I didn’t get told off 😉 myself and the guitarist used to find ways of working these songs into the arrangement, and they always went down well with the congregation. 🤘🤘 ps. I have a stryper bible here 😉

Before we used to play and AC/DC - quite tough to get right as a trio with vox- we always used to get the request- “do you do any AC/DC?” to which they would get the reply- “only if they ask nicely”

I’ve been playing in a classic rock and metal band for many years, and our strap line is “classic rock with balls- from AC/DC to zeppelin via sabbath and maiden” there’s a definite theme/ era to what we do, however we often get the “do you do any Metallica?” Or 4 non blondes or even oasis. 🤷‍♂️🥱🙄

I’d live to have a pedal called pink torpedo on the board! Certainly would be a talking point 😂😂

I know the feeling. I have no real idea why but I’m jonesing for another bc rich. There’s a mockingbird on eBay at the moment which has been doing the circuit for some time- it has a reserve, but the start price is clearly to high, as it never receives a bid. I check on it a couple of times a day 😂

Ok. after some research with friends that record stuff for a living lol I went with the Scarlett 2i2 gen 3 for an interface. it arrived today, I’ve got it working as far as the interface, and the input on the iPad is showing as input 1 & 2, but I’m not getting the little jack plug icon lighting up, or any sound 🤷‍♂️ pleeease help? Lol

The mind boggles I was SERIOUSLY tempted with this until I bought my other dbs rig. still am truth be told 😂

Each bass I own has its own character, which will determine where it gets used. I have basses that suit differing tunings, and ones that suit pick playing over fingerstyle.

It’s the same each time. I have the tracks page open, press record and it switches to the amp page. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Hi guys. I'm doing some remote recording for the new album, and I’m having an issue with gb on a new 2020 128gb iPad I’m getting the sounds in ok via an irig hd, but the issue is more that I want to be able to visually reference the track I’m playing to, rather than looking at the ‘amp’ screen. is there a button/ setting I can change to leave it on the multitrack page whilst I record? thank you chaps and chapesses 👍👍
