I had a chance to ab them earlier today.
The fuzz is very similar if not identical. The Dlx though seems to have more mid content than I would expect from a big muff ( although not by a huge amount)
It sits in a mix much better than the bbm. The blend control works wonders here, rather than the fixed blend of the bbm.
The crossover needs to be set carefully though or I found it tended to sound a little nasal in the mix. I settled on a setting as it turns out quite close to one of the sample settings in the little brochure/ leaflet.
IMO its worth it's £89 to me, just to have useful muff sound, although for my main band I think the bfd will be staying on my board.
As a standalone fuzz for an 'average' band content wise- definitely worth a good look
