3. As Dood says, you'll not get a better quality of product and service than OBBM. You name it, Dave'll make it to your exact specifications.
4. To confuse matters slightly, we did a charity all dayer on Monday and the bass player from another band was using a Nemesis 2x10 combo with a 75 reissue Jazz bass and the sound was amazing. I was very impressed and asked the sound engineer whether the bass was DI'd to the PA before the amp but this was not the case - all the sound was from the amp. I'm looking around for one now!

Another post in praise from me. Dave made me a very specific cable for my wireless system and it is soo much better than the original. Delivery and service, as usual, cannot be faulted. Cheers Steve
Yeh! I've been singled out you evil people!! ;o) lol lol.. Actually, since it has caused a stir.. and frankly there is NO WAY that anyone could have made that many posts in such a short time on this forum,
Keep up dood old bean, you need to making one post every 3.5 minutes to maintain your average.
9. Great news Shaun - what was the quick fix - is it something that would be useful to know?
10. Can you exchange the drivers with each other in the meantime (changing positions and wiring connections) just to rule out another point of failure? Steve

12. I had one and it was a beauty! Superb build quality and sounded brilliant. You won't regret it (although the tuners were not the best)
13. Fair point Spiky and I know it was a lot (was less than £100 but I'm adding a bit on for inflation) but there was no way I was going to muck around inside the amp when I had no idea what was going on in there and I now have a warranty from Panic for the conversion. Better safe than sorry for me when dealing with these sorts of things.
14.
If you're prepared to spend a bit more than the Eden price, I'd also recommend the Tech Soundsystems 6x10 capable of doing exactly what the Bergantino can do.
I like the sound of that but 3ohm or 6ohm according to the website spec? That's rather unusual, I'd have thought
15. Normally booking a couple of weeks ahead if you are lucky and it might take a couple of weeks for them to get the work done. cheers S
16. I have a 4PRO that was converted by Mike at Panic (very handy as I live very near him). I agree that he does not recommend using a step down transformer for a number of reasons - if you want the reasons then give him a bell, but I trust his advice. The transformer you have in the 6PRO *should* be multitap, which means you don't need a new transformer, but if it's anything like my 4PRO, then there is some changes needed to the internal circuit breaker also. Gonna cost you about £120 or so, but better and safer than carrying around a great weight of a transformer. Bear in mind they are extremely busy so don't expect a quick turn around unless you can deliver and collect yourself. Ask Toasted..;-)
17. I have bought loads of stuff from Basspartsresource.com and they always send them USPS and I have never been charged any duty at all (touch wood). They mark their shipments 'guitar parts for repair', if that makes any difference??
18. My Precision fitted with Seymour Duncan QPs has a very similar output to my Lakland with a J retro. I can adjust the gain of the J retro if I want to but it suits me as it is.
Does the Digitech allow you to selct how loops end eg fade out, end after the current cycle, etc? A friend of mine uses an RC20XL and it's a nice feature. I still have the original RC20 which is pretty good but my ear/foot co-ordination is sadly lacking! Cheers, Alun
I've not found that feature on mine so I'd say not, though I'd love to be proved wrong.

21. The plastic document sleeve was my idea and works really well. You can cut it very cleanly and it doesn't compress.
If the shim is placed at the bridge end of the neck pocket this will raise the strings slighty at the bridge. If the shim is placed at the neck end of the pocket it will lower the strings slightly.
Just to add - a shim in the bridge end will mean you will have to raise the bridge to achieve the same string height as you currently have (thus giving more scope for lowering if required).
22. You can get them from here Current exchange rates mean it'll cost you £48.28 including shipping A BadAss III will fit any three screw Fender model from 94 onwards (Jazz, Deluxe, Precision etc) including those with strung through bodies although the BadAss allows for standard stringing too.
