1. I'm not sure what the time limit is, but the Distance Selling Regualtions may offer some assistance on this.
2.
I'll muck in too. Here's my '88 Bass Collection SB320 fretless. A previous owner changed the pups (and maybe the electronics too) but I haven't worked out what they are yet. I popped some new gold and abalone knobs onto it and strung it with Rotosound nylon strings. Opps, that pic up there doesn't have the new knobs on it, try this one:
I think you people would say something like "bad", "lush" or something incomprehensible. Very nice.
3.
Here's my recently completed bitsa project.
Sorry Jerry_B, I rather selfishly forgot to complement you on a very nice looking bass.
4. Oh oh, I feel GAS approaching . Is it possible to trade a modded lined fretless for an unlined one?
5. Just out of interest are the dots on the side in the same place on a fretless or located to where the fret would be - or both if it depends on the luthier?
6. I have totally got used to the light strings now and really like the tone they produce. I have recently acquired a reserve set just in case!
7. Is that a P-Retro on the Fender Walbassist? How does it fit with the fretless sound? Mine is on a fretted P and I'm liking it very much. Big GAS problem now is whether I'm brave enought to go UNLINED. Still peeking out from behind the sofa on this one though.

9. I really enjoyed playing mine and had it for around 5 years. Good for rockier style music I felt with nice bright round-wounds. Sort of regret selling it now. Very comfortable, well balanced although I have no experience of the Twin Humbuckers/Tone Pump version as mine had the 3-band EQ and P/J pickups. Incidentally replaced by a Warwick Corvette Std. German made bass.
10. ..and Jack has just done a great set up on my Overwater by Tanglewood Contemp. J4 too.
11. Another endorsement for The Watch - saw them in Manc last year doing Foxtrot and other similarly vintage tunes - encore was Supper's Ready
12. I beleive thay have some of the original costumes (or access to them) could be good! Enjoy the show.
13. I've just fitted a John East P-Retro. Still fine tuning the settings but very impressed so far - I use it in full passive mode quite a lot too.
