    Given the current confinement i've just upgraded to some slightly more proper speakerage on my desk. It's nice to not have any latency when trying to play through VST's.

    There's a gig tonight in a park next to my office. They're sound checking at the moment. 20 mins for a drum check, 10 mins for guitar, 10 mins for keys. about 45 seconds for bass... Now on to vocals. Turns out it's Sister Sledge... Time to put my iPod on...

    Watch the Chernobyl TV mini-series. If you are 40 or over, you will probably recall seeing the news when you were young. You will want to see this series. It is very, very good. Moving and true to the events that shook the day and following years.

      Very nice @CameronJ the Electra range are overlooked and underated and that's a real pity.  I used to have one the J Electra basses.

    Are we really going to change the rules of Cricket just because kids don't find it 'exciting' and have the attention span of a goldfish?? Anyone who doesn't understand the rules doesn't deserve to enjoy the game, IMHO. Bah! Tsk! Pshaw! And so on.

      I'm with discreet on this.  Not everything has to involve instant gratification.

      Although it might be worth considering a duel to the death between captains using medieval weaponry of their choice to settle a 5-day test draw.  Obviously not on on the wicket though.

    Visitors to BC over the years may well have seem me bang on about what I suppose is still a favourite 'tonally coloured' speaker cabinet, the Hartke 4.5XL. I've had about 6 of those 45Kg beasts over the years. Too heavy for my poor back now. Imagine my excitement when I find I can have 600 different IR's of this famous cabinet to play with on Helix and my DAW???!!!!! Could I have 'Dan's 90's Tone' back again??? Watch this space! (My back says thank you)
