  1. Not 100% sure what I'll bring, but probably these: AGH Viper Modded OLP Thomann 70th Anni. Sandberg Electra
  2. Have you good people clocked these basses? Looks like a limited (ish) run for Thomann's 70th anniversary. Good looking beastie and maybe give the Sire Z7 a run for its money? https://www.thomann.co.uk/sandberg_electra_tm_ef_mh_sb.htm
  3. ...combined perfectly with the folly of youth. I think that I should let you decide between you who fills which role
  4. Can you not be a bit more precise please?
  5. The folks are also very good: https://www.creamery-pickups.co.uk/custom-handwound-pickups-from-the-creamery/scatterwound-bass-pickups.html
  6. Mike very kindly acquired a P bass harness this week. As ever completely flawless transaction; thanks again.
  7. Hi folks Parts draw clear out has revealed a brand new and unused Artec on-board overdrive/distortion/fuzz effect. More details here: https://www.artecsound.com/pickups/electronics/qdd.html I first came across these when I was following a series of modding threads by Low End Lobster about creating a Dark Ray bass for a fraction of the cost. So of course I bought one and promptly did nothing with it: Thanks for looking.
  8. Hi folks Just having a further clear out of my stuff and found this wiring harness. It came out of my former Jet JJB-300 jazz bass so pretty new and actually pretty decently made. Certainly not the on/off controls that often come with cheaper MIC basses. Happy to answer any questions.
  9. NOW SOLD Pretty much what it says in the title good peeps of BC world. I believe these pickups can be found on the Fender US Mike Dirnt basses and are not generally available as accessories to purchase. You will notice that I have repaired the ground wire as I thought that the previous owner's effort was sub-standard. Anyway pics below. Thanks for looking.
  10. Don't forget inflation folks. £300 in 1966 (about the price of a Fender bass I think) is worth about £5,800 today.
  11. As has been said above two basses or, if there are likely to be variations something like the Digitec drop pedal that allows you to change pitch in multiple semitone intervals and has an octaver function.
  12. NOW SOLD For sale is pedal that I bought but never got around to using so it’s like new. It will come in the original box with the basic instruction leaflet and a suitable padded carry bag that I bought for it but also never used. I’d be happy to answer any questions or take more pictures if there is a detail you would like to see more of.

  13. This is a delightful and upgraded Japanese-built high quality Precision bass. This one has had a few subtle upgrades to make it an excellent gigging and recording bass: The upgrades are as follows: The neck has been lightly sanded for a super-smooth feel and is really good to get around on A new aftermarket tort pickguard has been fitted by the previous owner (I don't have the original). Note that this has resulted in a few extra holes under the pickguard. KiOgon loom fitted The bass comes fitted with some nicely run in GHS Pressure Wound strings and will come with a decent padded gig bag. In the pics the bass has speed dial knobs on, but I will put the chrome ones it came to me with back on for sale. It’s a lovely instrument and weighs just over 8½lbs by my scales (3.9kgs). It’s a gigging workhorse and great as a main bass or backup. This is a fantastic bass and has some real mojo. There are some minor cosmetic dings and marks but nothing structural. These are very difficult to picture on a black bass. If you’d like me to have another go, please just ask. In short, Japanese quality with serious upgrades. If this bass wasn’t so good, it would have not had the use it has had. Only for sale as arthritis is starting to badly impact my playing so slowly (and painfully) getting rid of my gear that I have accumulated over the years. Collection or meet up preferred but I have packaging so I can post this.
  14. SOLD ELSEWHERE I stumbled across this in my spares box when I was have a bit of a sort out at the weekend. I think it's brand new as I have no recollection of using it. I think it fits a number of SBMM, Stingrays and OLP basses. The key dimension being the 70mm between the pickguard screws. Plenty of info on the company website: https://www.zero-mod.com/models.html Here are a couple of pics for you. Thanks for stopping by:
  15. If you can find one how about a Fenix SH?
  16. I had the MC pickups and DFM pre in a fretless 5er that has sadly had to go due to my arthritis. They are a heavenly match and give you so many options to choose from. Highly recommended.
  17. Apologies, nothing much to offer on this topic.
  18. Is it just me that feels that this bass needs to be cut from the sprues like Airfix plastic model kits?
  19. Joel has just acquired an effects pedal from. What a thoroughly decent bloke he is. Excellent comms., super swift payment and an all round very pleasurable transaction. Thanks very much.
  20. My ACGs all had them in, with the honourable exception of the Graft series that had battery space inside the control cavity with clips.
  21. My active basses have a simple flip up battery box that you just open, lift the old battery out, insert the new battery and close. Very effective.
