1. No worries, if you're interested in one, drop Max a line, he's really helpful and friendly.
2. Personally, I love it. Not guitarish, and really keeps the low end in there. Theres also a mid switch to help cut through a bit better in a live mix. I think theres some samples on the SFX site actually: http://www.sfxsound.co.uk/mainpage.asp?page=micro_fuzz I went through a few fuzzes before settling on this one.
3. Hi, Having sold a couple of pedals, I'm downsizing my board to a PT mini (hoping I can squeeze everything onto one!). My PT2 is velcro'd and in very good order (both board and case). I havent drilled or moded it at all. Pic below with pedals on: I'd ideally like to not have top post this, and can meet london (Kings-x, London bridge, liverpool street, city etc.) or Bedford (or most stations between the two). I'm looking for [s]£85[/s] £80, and can provide more detailed pictures etc if required. Drop me a line if you have any queries, thanks, Andy
4. Id go with a cheap Bass practice amp And stick a vt Bass pedal infront of it. Maybe not perfect, but you're dabbling. Go second hand And if it doesn't Work out sell it on.
5. New rubber feet And a price drop bump. Now 65. Bought for 99. Its sitting packed up In its box In my lounge.....
6. Boss pedal sold pedning the normal formalities. Just the Crybaby left.....let me know if you're tempted!
7. Sold my compact to Musky. Punctual, pays and is a top bloke!!
8. Saturday eving bump and price drop. £75 posted? Drop me a line if its of interest. Thanks, Party On!
9. Hi, Now two pedals for sale.......shedding some gear to pay for other stuff, and these are my least used bits. Dunlop Crybaby 105q Great wah, but I dont use wah other than for 5 mins in my bedroom, and I'll sell when these are in. This is boxed and in good condition (theres a small bit of paint - about 5mm - scratched off on the underside) and I bought it about 8 months ago. Looking for £65 posted. http://www.jimdunlop...y-baby-bass-wah Boss PS-6 Harmonist Pitchshifte - SALE PENDING [s]PS-6 Harmonist Pitchshifter I've had this for around 9 months or so. Used it for a short time rehearsals and bedroom, but realised I never play anything that utilises either of these. It seems to track pretty well (I use a 5 string), although progressively more precision required on anything under a G. You can also hook up an expression pedal to it, although can adjust the time for pedal operartion. Good pedal for some weird and wonderful stuff. Can get close to that tool kind of thing as well. It's boxed with instructions in great condition. Used only in bedroom and a few rehearsals. Looking for £90 £75 posted. http://www.bossus.co...?ProductId=1131[/s] Here's a pic with both on my board. PS-6 top right, crybaby centre stage. They're now off the board and in their boxes. Happy to post, but I can also meet Bedford or London - Kings x, london bridge, liverpool street areas. Drop me a line with any queries, cheers Andy
10. Hi All, Well, I've bought a house and don't have a band at the moment. Consequently (to pay for either a carpet or wardrobe, or something equally as exciting), I'm selling one of my Compacts (boo). I think most of you are up to speed on these. Very nice cabs, stupidly light, and loud with the right amp! I've gigged this one about 3 times and had a couple of rehearsals. Its the steel grill version, non tweeter and weighs around 12kg as advertised on the barefaced site. I'm looking for £375 collected. I could meet early morning at london bridge or kings cross (7/8ish) or weekends. This is'nt a recent picture, but its in the same condition. Unscathed: Any questions let me know, thanks for looking Andy
11. Ah man, I miss the sound of new cabs, particularly barefefaced! Sounds killer, I hope to play one........some day!
12. Sorry guys, I've overlooked updating this somehow. it is indeed sold.
13. +1 for the berhinger. Cant go wrong at that price point, even if you dont like it. I settled on the VT bass, and it interacts really rell with the XXL for my tastes. I have the VT on all the time, then use the XXl for all out filth.
14. Thanks Doddy, I'll drop him a line and get my lazy arse over there then. Cheers guys
15. Thanks BassBod. Yeah, thats what I thought would be the best move. Might struggle to get to blackheath though. Any recommendations for anyone more central? I'll give the bass gallery a shout and my normal guitar tech, I'm just unsure if EUBs are a specialist skill so dont want to pay for someone to look at it without a recommendation on here.
16. Hi Guys, Forgive my ignorance on this matter, but are there any EUB techs you can recommend to give mine a once over? Also, for my own knowledge about these things, are there specific EUB/DB techs, or can any bass tech do the same?? Secondly, I'm aiming to bow more than finger style (if I ever manage to learn!), does the bass need setting up any differently to accommodate this? I had my first hack around yesterday and managed to get a few decent (bloody awful! ) results, but wondered if I needed to raise the bridge slightly or whether there was anything else?? I figure its going to be much better to hand it over to someone who knows what they're doing, so any recommendations on people would be gratefully recieved. I'm west london, but work east end so anywhere there or between would be great. Something I've kinda just thrown myself into without really doing a lot of reading up on, or having any sort of understanding!! Thanks
17. For the wwah, you caould always try a weeping demon - unless its just an auto you're after? its switchable betweena bass and a guitar setting. I used to use either and it sounded pretty good. A turbo rat might be worth a try as well for distortion type tones. Used to have one, and liked it quite a bit on bass. A few people round here use em i think. - edit: this doesnt have a blend though!! sorry! Hope this is of some help!!
18. Sold my blowtorch to Jakob. +1 to all the above, fast payment, good comms, nice guy to deal with.
19. Just bought a bow off of dave. No worries at all here - top bloke, pleasure to do business with!
20. hmmm, tough question. Got to be distortion to fuzz for me. That said, favourite pedal is my vt bass.
