1. pm replied - come to daddy!
2. Decided to shift the wah off the board to aid a bit of space- got the RAT back on for the time being - hoping to replace that with B3K. All George L'd up - even managed to get the Thumpinator back on top as well (it was velcro'd on the underside of the board previously).
3. Well here's my contribution to the thread a 5 string Ozark Banjo - have had this for around 3 years, learned a few basics - but them darn frets is fiddly! Greg, whereabouts in the shire are you based? Tempted? It's in really nice condition and has a gig bag! shoot me a pm if you're interested. Pete
4.
Thor if you're looking for some straight George L's jacks I've got loads I'm not using. PM if you're interested mate! (Or anyone else, for that matter!)
Cheers Higgie - I pulled the trigger on some this morning so you can probably guess what I'll be doing tomorrow! I only bought the angled ones so far - I'll give you a shout though if I do find I need some straight connectors. Simwells, just spotted your B3K - what do you think of it? Is it as good as people are saying? I thought the youtube demo sounded pretty good through my laptop speakers.
5.
yes
I used to do that.

Looking Good!
7.
Would look great on your board!!!!
I'm just waiting to hear from mcnach and whether he is going to part with his B3K (hopefully he will!) If the Sublime and LMB3 ever sell I'll definitely have it!
8. Once my board is how I want it and I'm happy with it then I had planned to buy L's - I think it's just the initial out lay that is going to hurt a bit/is putting me off - the plan would then be to buy just a few at a time (as you're about to do) when adding to the board, which clearly makes having quality a much less painful experience! I do like the idea of saving a bit of space - there's actually quite a bit of wasted space on my board for exactly this reason (patch leads/bulky connectors).
9. I'm quite tempted by it, I can't see any on ebay for the same price? Not when you include shipping and import duty that would be payable!
10. Cheers for the offer of the cabling - I may take you up on that - it's just the price of the plugs that are the killer really! Shopping around it seems they're always pretty much the same price. I'm a bit of a cynical git - do they really make that much difference? Or is it just the cabling can be tailored to each application?
11. There you go, rationalised! So where's the best place to buy George L's - that's going to be be the next dent in my wallet!?
12. Yeah - I must admit I was thinking that the other day - I reckon that needs trimming down a tad!
13. It's getting there - I take that as high praise indeed coming from the board guru - may have to pick your brains soon.
14. I was wondering how you got on....only just spotted this thread! Looks cool to me!
15. Cheers Rich - the pedal is excellent - I've been missing the ability to blend but it really does make a great difference.
16. I had one of those for my first bass! And loved it. Served me well in my first 2 years of gigging - sold it for £100 IIRC. The knobs look like the original ones to me - I always thought they reminded me of Gibson Black Speed type knobs:
17. The latest version of my board - still to change once I get my head round using the LS-2 and X-Blender together! And am hoping a B3K will be heading this way in the not too distant future...
18. I reckon a RAT distortion pedal will get you pretty close to the desired effect.
19. Back to the top for price drop!
20. Back to the top! Trade options edited, price dropped and thread cleaned and tidied! Open to offers type bump!
21. Hi Alan, it's a shame this didn't work for you, here's hoping you get what you're after. I can testify this really is a nice bass to play and is in very good gigged condition, sounds great IMO and Alan's a really nice guy to do business with! Buy with total confidence folks! Have a Bump on me!
22. Just bought a custom Al Heeley Chorus pedal from Al - really nice quality, great sounding chorus pedal, arrived very safely packaged the following day! Great stuff from a really nice guy!
23.
pedalboard 2012 :
What's with the stopwatch top left? Are you timing your gigs?
24. Cheers Rich!
