I almost persuaded myself I needed a custom-made blender/mixer/DI pedal thingy. Too complicated to explain why. Yesterday I tested my theory and decided it was stupid. So I’m still in 😃

We’re lucky in my band that our guitarist is an audio engineer and we have a bunch of guys at his studio which he bounces ideas off, all for free. I’m not sure I’d employ a producer unless I had a mega record deal. Which I never will. Personally @AndyTravis I think your EP sounds bloody great as it is, it doesn’t need any “production” because the songs are already well crafted with sensible musicianship. Tell them to stop being daft and just get back to rehearsing and finding gigs. Or find a new bunch to play with

Much like @AndyTravis I came to Rush late but I am incredibly saddened to read this. He seemed such a humble, intelligent man from the documentaries I’ve seen and his drumming was just superb. A sad loss - hope he’s enjoying some jams with Jaco, Chris Squier, Hendrix etc

I think it is simply the ABM600 in a package similar to the Geezer Head Of Doom and Shavo signature models. There may well be more to it than that but not sure... edit - Painy said the same thing marginally quicker than me!

I really must join in this year. There’s a bass which @skelf is taking to NAMM which will cause me serious bank trouble if it returns unsold and I was talking to @Cosmicrain about another Funkmeister build too, but neither bass is needed and I’ve just started the year with a huuuuge bill for my wife’s horse. On top of that I have a bathroom refurb to do and the wife wants to redecorate the rest of the house too. So, (somewhat grudgingly 🤣), I’m in.

I always found myself relying on the lines on my old Status Groove fretless so when my friend built me this made a conscious decision to go unlined, to force me to listen more and look less. It’s great fun

Yep. Basically yours is an early iteration of the cab, but it’s not like the distinct “Gen 1/ Gen 2” Compacts and Super Twelves etc. It’s possibly part of the “Gen 3” range but (I think) strictly speaking that’s the Super Compact, Super Twin, Big Baby II etc...
