Ah fair enough, the V4 badge is probably an addition after-market, afaik it only came into existence with the 2nd gen V-Type range.
As for this particular specimen, I am quite drawn to it but would be too scared to take it out!
Wow that really is pristine!
Also like buses, the second one to appear on here in the last fortnight..!
Good luck with the sale, always wanted one of these but have a sensible head on my shoulders now and don't need the power or weight
Still amazed at the condition of this baby

Doesn't that amp have two power amps? So it can run at 8 ohms 375w a side? So just run a cab in to each side is what I would do.

This
Andertons have the 8 ohm ones in stock (I know this coz I just bought one for home!)
GAK claim to have the 4 ohm one....
I have to say i'm very impressed with it for such a cheap little cab. It's not in the same league as my Barefaced Super Compacts but is great for home and will be good for little rehearsals and gigs too
Sounds like it's one of the new TE combos so they'll be 200W Celestion drivers I think, and in my (albeit limited) experience their new cabs are better than the mid 90s stuff.
I played thru a Series 5 4x10 combo at a local festival last week, it sounded great with everything set flat. Great amp, probably their finest hour along with the Series 6 and V-Type stuff!
Struggling with my conscience at the moment wrt the V-Type head in the FS section at the moment....
Damn I was driving past Wimborne earlier, should have made a pit stop!! Great amp, still my favourite SS head ever (ok it has the valve in the pre...) GLWTS
A lot of the Compact/Midget pairs are the Gen 2 cabs, I'm not aware of anyone running the Gen 3 Compact and Gen 3 Midget together I'n afraid.
I run two Super Compacts with my Ashdown CTM100 valve head and it's heavenly Never liked tweeters tho...
