1. Oh my
2.
I've been looking at these enviously for a while now, seem too good to be true for the price. Might be a bit much for bedroom rock though!
Buy mine.....
3. I have two of these at the mo, one for sale as two is a bit daft when I also have an Ashdown CTM100 and ABM500 at my disposal! Cracking amp though, will always have one in my arsenal
4.
As far as I'm concerned this basically comes down to one thing....Practice. If you are thinking and worrying about what to play next, while playing music that you regularly play, then you probably don't know the material well enough. Likewise, if you've learnt a cool lick or line and you try to force it into a song, chances are you haven't practiced it enough because if you had it would become a part of your playing without having to think about it and force it. Minds wander and mistakes happen but when they do, you know what you need to practice. This brings me to another point....If you're thinking about your own playing, you're not listening. If you're not listening, you probably aren't grooving. When you're on the bandstand you should be listening and reacting to the music and the other musicians. Leave the conscious thinking in the practice room
Spot on. I know I don't practice enough and that's precisely why I sometimes overthink things and they don't come off. Whenever I'm just letting the music flow and grooving with the band without trying anything extra-clever it is all grand Basically I need to practice more, something I am now able to address after many years of excuses why I can't!
5. Yes I do tend to overthink things sometimes and suffer as a result, becuase I is a 'uman bean
6. Final bump. First eBay auction fell flat but current one going better. If you want it for less than it'll go for on eBay (reserve set higher to offset selling costs!) then now's your last chance
7. FS only, brand new US-made GK MB200. I bought this a month ago because my previous one had an issue with the ICEPower board. Ashdown very kindly fixed that for me so the new one is surplus to requirements. It's the newer model with only Speakon (not jack/Speakon combi socket). Comes with power lead and manual but not the original box. £175 posted to the UK mainland
8. Good news!
9. Will accept £360 shipped from BC chaps and chapesses
10. I still miss my old Eden WT550
11. Cheers Rob This is now on eBay as has to go
12. I think this or the CTM300 would be the only amps I'd ever sell my CTM100 for
13. If you ever decide to sell, sell the Fusion. Back to me......
14. This will be heading to eBay next week if it doesn't go on here
15. Vince sold me an Ashdown ABM500 and was a true gent. Very patient with me as I tried to sort my life out to get over to collect it. Cheers mate!
16.
Bugger! I want the 'bridged into 4 ohm 'B' version.
Me too!
17. Glad you like. I think the CTM100 has become my favourite amp ever very rapidly. And I've gone through a fair few amps in the last ten years
18. Can you bridge the outputs?
19. I seriously suck at reggae, I need to do some studying!
20. Great bass, great guy to deal with. I'd have had it back if I hadn't blown up my GK head!
