Only 35.5" scale for the B string? Pointless.

Not really, it makes enough of a difference on my prototype multiscale bass.

Indeed. 35[sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub] hours. Tsk tsk. Now, if I were a Mod...

Unless I can't count it was 12 hours
Cheers! It's a great amp, my first all valve head (in fact still my only all valve head, the BTA being a hybrid preamp!) and I love it to bits but I have to follow my one in one out rule, and obey she who... well yes, exactly..,
SOLD
I bought this last year from Chenzman and it's a cracking amp but frankly I have too many amps and don't need them all!
This is in "OK" visual condition - some slightly rusty corner protectors, some scuffs and tiny rips n the vinyl covering - but excellent internal following a service with Ashdown who declared it 100% fit and healthy and with a long active life ahead of it. The fan is quite noisy but that's my only gripe with it, it sounds brilliant through my Barefaced cabs and certainly not muddy or muffled or any other nonsense you hear said about Ashdown. This has heft and punch as well as depth and warmth - it sounds great, simple as that.

It's bizarre, definitely in my top five bass amps I've ever played because it sounds so good, is so simple and bulletproof. I made a friend buy one last year to replace his aging Laney combo and he's incredibly happy with it. Hope it shifts soon for you
Thanks chaps Pictures as promised, the second one shows the only blemish I can see on the amp which was there when Gareth originally bought it I understand:
