1. I bought one off ebay but never got round to fitting it. it was a standard 13 hole withhout cut out notch for truss rod. The seller had a downloadable pdf of the pickguard and it fitted fine
2. Thanks guys. Im sure its ok just happier when im buying off a BCer with feedback
3. Hi there thinking of blowing all my money on this bass and just wanted a few expert opinions before I do. its an AVRI 63 p Bass in 3TS looks Gen its just that in the knocks its taken the finish seems to have chipped like a poly finish. I thought these were nitro and I would expect it to wear rather than chip/flake. If anyone has experience with the AVRI series or nitro and could shed some light on wether this looks normal it'd be much appreciated. also is there a definitive way to tell if its an AVRI (neck pocket stamp etc) as apposed to a neck on a generic body. Terrible that im so suspicious but its not a BCer so Im naturally worrried! photos at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3WmgaM02Z49aVVGOERiSVE3YkU thanks all Bri

12. When I was after this there was non for sale and so I had to buy new, now there's 2 and a 2025 up for sale. Mad market!
13. I have mine on ebay as well and had the same offer. Just declined it as well. Im not too bothered if i dont sell either as they are just too good. I love p basses and this is IMHO a better 5 string than fenders offering at less than half price GLWTS
14. This is getting silly. Ridiculous bargain
15.
Having small hands is of no consequence whatsoever so have no fear for big necks. There's people playing broadneck 6, 7 or even up to 11 strings or whatever. The trick is in the thumb sitting at the back of the neck at the right position (somewhere in between your index and middle finger) Wrong hand positioning means a painful experience on any five stringer imho.
+1 I have a Yamaha BB1025 and small hands and found the slightly wider neck made me play with better left hand positioning. going back to a p bass now seems so much more comfortable because I'm playing with better posture. You wont go wrong with a Yam. Ibanez also very good but I found the string spacing at the bridge too tight for me.
16.
See this thread on TB (the post with pics from Jayhawk ahout 3/4 down the page) - https://www.talkbass.com/threads/squier-cv-60-precision-mods.1168504/ The main difference is the shorter tuning key shaft. I was going to get one for my Matt Freeman but OCD would then have demanded replacement of the other three tuners (as this chap did)
cheers Ikay had seen a guy on youtube using a bt7 but thought the bt1 here looked right. Missed out now but never mind ill keep an eye open
17. Looks a similar shape to the tuners on my squier cv60s p bass anyone know if itd fit?
