Ive only recently realised just how good the SR range is. This is a fine classic example and with the reverse P and J pups it will deliver a huge range of sounds.Some one buy quick!

It was having a shot of Bobby's BB2000 that originally lead to me getting the 1024 and I think its as close to that classic tone as you could get. Pups are hot and its a proper rock monster!

Im sure my LB212 is rated at 300w I called the guy who designed it at Ashdown and he told me it was more than capable of handling the OTB. Its a 4 ohm cab, I run the head on the 4 ohm setting and if I took it over a 1/4 vol id blow the rest of the band off stage! 500w is its maximum output and I cant see anyone running these flat out. Like the advice above get a decent cab and youll be sorted.

I play mine through an Ashdown Little Bastard 212 these were the last of the cabs made in England for ashdown (by orange actually!) Its a 4 ohm cab and the otb sounds huge through it. Large pubs and it still hasnt gone over 1/4 vol

No it hasnt gone up. I had dropped it for 24hrs hoping to sell quick as I had a replacement on sale or return. No one bit so ive had to return the other bass. I am of course open to any serious offer

Ice black is the colour of the 705 according to the ibanez website. Its translucent black over figured maple with a maple Centre block and mahogany back looks good in the website pics
