1. Still here, still punching well above their weight (even at a stores new bass price)
 2. Ive only recently realised just how good the SR range is. This is a fine classic example and with the reverse P and J pups it will deliver a huge range of sounds. Some one buy quick!
 3.
And you certainly would drool, ras ;-) It belonged once to BCer "Mojo" -he had an unlined ebony board put on it, it's lovely! My BB2000 is the one though, irreplaceable ;-) and I'm guessing the sound from Brian's 1024 here isn't a million miles away from it. So, another bump for a great bass. Come and get it people!
Cheers Bobby and Ras you've helped make my thread a hot topic! It was having a shot of Bobby's BB2000 that originally lead to me getting the 1024 and I think its as close to that classic tone as you could get. Pups are hot and its a proper rock monster!
 4.
Hello Bri! Sorry to see you're having to sell this on and bad news about your accident mate :-( Anyone considering buying this, Brian is a top bloke, buy with confidence ;-) And thus, bump!
Cheers for the kind words Bobby! If you don't want to take my word for how good the bb series are, have a word with Bobby he's very knowledgeable about these p bass killers
 5.
It amazing how many bass players are bikers bump!
Yes best instrument and best sport we're smart cookies us bass players!
 6.
Crikey! That is some break. Is it a crush injury, hammer perhaps? Nice bass too..
Came off my road bike, its shortened my left ring finger metacarple, now looking to the ibanez sr range for closer string spacing/shallower neck
 7. Pms replied to. Price drop to £475 I can't go lower i'm afraid Still available, now on ebay and gumtree but id rather deal with one of you guys! Pic of broken hand now in dropbox link-ouch! But might explain my reason for sale
 8. Sunday roast beef and yorkshire puddings cooking nicely bump. Now advertised elsewhere
 9. Im sure my LB212 is rated at 300w I called the guy who designed it at Ashdown and he told me it was more than capable of handling the OTB. Its a 4 ohm cab, I run the head on the 4 ohm setting and if I took it over a 1/4 vol id blow the rest of the band off stage! 500w is its maximum output and I cant see anyone running these flat out. Like the advice above get a decent cab and youll be sorted.
 10.
For what its worth I think a ton off for a newish bass is in the right ball park maybe this would shift faster elsewhere? GLWTS any way mate
cheers you might be right, may have to be off to evilbay
 11. I play mine through an Ashdown Little Bastard 212 these were the last of the cabs made in England for ashdown (by orange actually!) Its a 4 ohm cab and the otb sounds huge through it. Large pubs and it still hasnt gone over 1/4 vol
 12.
Hard to say re price as they are £596 new but they are so good! I'd love it but funds ain't available at this point unfortunately. Good luck though Andy
cheers Andy At that price new these are a steal. By far the best p bass ive played in 20 odd years (imho) so im looking for a ton off new price for nearly new. Cant be far off can I?
 13. No it hasnt gone up. I had dropped it for 24hrs hoping to sell quick as I had a replacement on sale or return. No one bit so ive had to return the other bass. I am of course open to any serious offer
 14. If you fancy making an offer dont be shy. I have to make a decision on a bass I have on sale or return sharpish
 15. Sorry need to shift my bb before I can commit to another bass glwts tho. Not played a bad ibby
 16.
No definitely right price, slow market though I'm afraid

Absolutely fab basses....I tried many many fenders priced way above these and this came out on top. The neck is lovely and the pickups are stonking....I love mine! You won't find it cheaper than this. GLWTS!
Thanks guys. Thought I was in the right ballpark. Good to have it backed up independently though
 17.
Yamaha are the best at that £200 price range. There is a 425 on here at the minute for exactly that amount. +1 Total bargain, please buy it before I give in and buy another one.
18.
Under 700 quid will get you a nice Bb1024/5, incredible passive tones.
+1
 19. Ice black is the colour of the 705 according to the ibanez website. Its translucent black over figured maple with a maple Centre block and mahogany back looks good in the website pics
