Ive had a basic 4m which itraded for a vm4 by far the best p bass ive ever owned. I foolishly traded that in cos I was wanting to try a 5er. They are top instruments that I would heartily recommend. I would favour one over fender any day. Buy with confidence you wont be disappointed

Humble bass in some of the company you list but try yammies new trbx range (not just cos im listing one!) Large range of sounds and a totally silent pre amp. 34 inch scale and the string spacing is ideal for your 80s slapfest

Andy Irvine seems to play them on his left leg when seated which I don't think I'd like

[/quote] Have they discontinued all korean pro series? Just started looking at tge streamer nt. Thomann have one at 665 but in black only. Not sure how good a deal that is. Would prefer natural but they look good on specs alone, same hardware and electronics as their german cousins
