1. I would be happy to model it for free at my house for an extended term Linus T
2. There's only one thing that could make that bass look any sexier. have it modelled by one of your avatars Linus T
3. This thread has shown one of the strengths of BC for me. It's such a blessing to be able to have the views of a blend of players all watching the same thing, as other folks really do see what I sometimes miss. Thanks to everyone that has commented, it's been an informative exercise T
4.
Interesting fred. I like my sound (as do the people I play with ) but I will try this on the gig I am doing tonight with my Neil Sedaka Tribute Band, 'Sweet Sixteen'. It will be interesting to see whether it helps or hinders!
Will you be adding 'That'll be the day' by Buddy Holly on the side Bilbo ?
5. from one essex, to another Hiya ! T
6. Just checked this to be sure. The Markbass Sa450 owners manual gives guidance on the characteristics and use of frequencies of the low, low - mid, upper mid etc Helped my understanding by more than a tad !! T
7.
No doubt he's a player and all that and I'm sure we can all noodle to a certain degree, but what does it sound like with some chordal accompaniment, that's when it will make sense and also where the musicality will shine.
Undeniably true, I believe T
8.
C'mon Tom - You know you want it!
That door is well and truly open already. Only God knows how much I want it. I would almost give my left bo**ock for it, but no-one's buying them lately Drat. Double drat. Aaaaah T
9. You would sell this now. It's almost too nice to pass up. But I'm commited elsewhere. Drat.

12.
Git
ain't that typical ? T
13.
well the cab was right next to me head. I like to have a massive jump from my clean to my distortion and with this amp if we had to play a show with no PA when i played distorted it was out of control and completely unmanageable ...
Forgive me for asking, but how did you have the gain and master set up ? Peavey recommend turning the master all the way up and then adjusting the gain to suit. Cranking up the pre - amp gain will distort the sound, but if the master is full up to begin with and you adjust the pre-amp gain from zero upwards, then the sound is very clean up to some astonishing volume levels at 4 ohms. Just my 2p T
14. can't believe you're floggin' this already !!!! The recent review was great and gave the impression of a good instrument. T

21. So true !!!!!! Sneaking up on a house full of instruments by stealth like that T
22. As it says, would you please choose your preferred Sunday in June. Please also find the other thread to vote for your preferred venue, choice between Deptford and Friern Barnet. If we are really well behaved, will a moderator please, pretty please, pin this to the top ? Thank you for looking everyone T
23. Ok folks, the time is almost upon us. I'm almost loath to suggest voting for stuff on this bash, given the current news issues .. ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!! WHO WANTS MORE VOTING ? however, I really don't see any other realistic way forward. Hmmm. There are two choices before us. 1. Venue location, between Deptford Creekside Studios, South Eastern London and a school in Friern Barnet, North East London. 2. Which particular sunday we are going for. Other points of business: There hasn't been too much coming forward for a raffle. Any donations / ideas welcome. More classes would also be welcome. Hopefully, next year's London bash will be properly organised without all this malarky. With more time available for planning, I don't see any reason why we couldn't borrow on the experience of some of the longer standing bashes up and down the country, which could potentially make for a crackin' day for all. So it's vote, vote, vote. T
