Sorry no and TBH there wasn't anything there in the bass range anyway that I haven't seen more impressive examples of posted by either Lorne or yourself...
+1, there were a couple in the rosetti stand, but i get the feeling you used to own one of them (well, an identical one, not the exact one), shockwave, and the only other i noticed was a spalted maple mockingbird bass which was pretty cool. I think there was a really cheap looking warlock bass, too. Your BC Richs are much cooler than any there.
 2.
P.S. As the Rare-ones, we'd set Ibazzy owners/lovers club, shouldn't we?..
count me in, too! i love my soundgear 500!
 3. dunno if this has already been said, but for that price you might as well buy it, and if you feel you don't need it sell it on ebay for a profit (you'll definatly at least get your money back!)
 4.
my real problem is that i like sort of rocky/punky music
i have solved this problem - scott owen of the living end

 6. this is going to be great!
 7.
Is it going to be a bookcase?

Yes, a bookcase! More: This is the top of a bass guitar. The body is going to be mahogany, possible chambered but we're not sure. The neck and fingerboard are going to be maple. (A blonde bass!) There will be black hardware including controls of one pot and one 4-way switch. There's gonna be an odd number of strings and an odd number of cutaways on the body and the frets may not be parallel .

Oh, bass bass bass, that's all you people ever talk about.
lol! that made me laugh.
 8.
That, sir, is lush! Looks like the offspring of my two!
haha it really is like the offspring of your two!!! what colour is that OLP by the way? i didn't realise they did a sparkly blue! i was just thinking that i can't think of anything that i'd want from the london guitar show this year then i saw your OLP, its sooo cool looking. this place really is the reason GAS exists.
 9. i have moved on from electric to double bass, but my real problem is that i like sort of rocky/punky music, and honestly don't have a clue where to begin for playing double bass. i accept that im not going to be playing this sort of music on double bass, but i dont really know what sort of stuff you DO play on it.
 10. im think this came up a short while ago. i think someone said that the route was too big to fit the control plate, so thats a no. not 100% sure, though.
 11.
The thumb rest on my semi-fretless...
semi-fretless?
 12.
Aye, was gonna mention you, and actually it wasn't a fender, was a no name p-bass copy but yeah, i'm assuming you meant the guy at the bash?
i think the guy you and big red x are talking about is skywalker?
 13. right, what am i missing? what happens if you hit 3Hz?
C1 is nearest in frequency to the fabled 'pink note', which interestingly is a much higher frequency than that of the 'brown note', that I believe is around C-1. Maybe it ended up that way so you'd still be able to tell if you were coming or going? For those who don't know.. best use google...
whats the pink note? doesn't the brown note make you poo? i think i saw that on braniac?
 14. is this crazy german the one with the bright green descriptions of all his items? he makes me laugh.
 15. i'm pretty sure me and simon1964 (my dad) are going, i think we got tickets.
 16. that jazz would look great with stacked knobs...
 17.
Ooh, I want a '60s P.
+1
 18. hmmm... you could always get a white jazz and have it routed for a musicman pickup. im thinking about having a musicman pickup on my P/J precision, so i asked jon shuker about it and he says it'd cost about £30 for it to be done and £40 if he fits the pickup. thats not a bad price, and a hell of a lot cheaper than a warmoth body (well, that depends on what jazz you get in the first place i suppose)
 19. depends, i only really write songs for my band, and if my guitarist's written the song then i listen tyo what he's playing and use a combination of the build up the root notes and the hear it in your head methods. if ive written it most of the time its because ive just been messing around and something sounded good, so i decided to make a song of it lol. so happy accident there. EDIT: forgot to add, my guitarist writes about 90% of our songs.
 20.

thats an oddly cool looking bass, because its really plain and normal looking, if that makes sense? lol
 21. first thing i'd do is change the pickguard to black or tort (just makes it look a better bass) but either a gotoh or BADASS bridge on and some seymour duncan or EMG pickups in it. that'll make it an all round better bass than the mexican IMO, for maybe a hundred pounds, which if you sell your bass you'll get about £150, a new mexican is about £300. saves money and gives you a better bass. this is all my personal opinion, though.
 22.
Like sheep: one Ibanez, many Ibanez. Strictly speaking, you wouldn't pluralise it at all. You would say e.g. "three Ibanez basses", pluralising the specific "instantiations". Ibanez is a brand name, not a tangible "thing" that you can pluralise.
so are you saying you shouldnt say "ive got three fenders" it should be "ive got three fender basses"?
 23. a peavey bass amp with 3 tutor DVDs i think... confusing that they wouldnt put a picture of the amp though...
 24. how do you pronouce the plural of ibanez?
