1. I would have that off you like a shot if you decide to give up again!
2. Im not sure size came into it when they first built these things..
3. I was keeping this to myself trying to rustle up the funds but I wont be able to so thought I had better share with the class! www.klangfarbe.at (never bought from them online but they are the oldest and most reputable store in Austria and I have met the people who work there at trade shows and I would order from them ) Unfortuantely their site is wierd and I cant take a direct link so you need to use the top left search box to search Hellborg All 4 cabs on sale prices, not sure exact percentage but looks like 60-70% off. The big cab for 499 euro! RRP on that is in the Region of 1200 Sterling. If I had the money I would be on it like a shot they really are some of the best cabs I have ever had the pleasure to hear, just normally far too expensive!
4. I kind of like it, I have actually wondered before why the speakers are always in the corners!
5. Im going out on a limb and saying that may well be USA. And a complete and utter bargain.
6. Thats so wrong.
7. Still waiting on photos!
8. In my years in the murky business of music instruments I have heard some amazing tales about these sites. Some of it is OEM, ie after work a few of the guys sneak in and use the machines and wood and everything to build more instruments which they then take home to sell via sites like trade tang. When I used to work for a large home audio company we suffered huge volumes of fake in ear headphones being made in China then sold via places like eBay, Amazon and Trade tang, when they got to the root of how it had happened it became clear that although the internals were duff and bascially the cheapest they could find the bodies were identical to the real ones, someone had stolen or copied a mould from the factory in China and was casting them eleswhere, basically making the headphones visually indestinguisable to the untrained eye.
9. McGraham the answer is simple and staring you in the face. Contact said tool. Say you want to come back, you were wrong and so on and so forth. Also say you have found an incredible Keyboard player, guitarist, percussionist and 3 piece brass section who would fit in and are ready to go. Invite members of BC to fulfil those roles and turn up to practice. ...... what happens next is up to you
10. Yep, Also if you ever see Rio Palisander thats Brazillian Rosewood.
11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEFT-HANDED-FENDER-JAPAN-CUSTOM-CRAFT-SHOP-1975-JAZZ-BASS-75-LEFTY-J-CIJ-REISSUE-/180800595799?pt=Guitar&hash=item2a188e2757#ht_1605wt_1344 Correct me if I am wrong but this is fundamentally a bitsa with a different neck and body bolted together, some new pickups and the claim that it is in some way a Custom Shop instrument which it is not.

13. Wrong foruim!
14. pm'd need a metal bass!
15. I am torn between black and gold on mine.
16. You used to be able to buy a 100W Tran head with 2 4x12s from Ibanez for somthing like 600 quid. Neeedless to say it was cack but if you absolutely had to have a full stack? Deal.
17. Looks nought like rosewood! Way too smooth! But you have the best avatar on here so I shall accept your opinion!
18. Early Warwicks have them one, they make a great upgrade for a Rockbass.
19. It is the hidden bargain of Warwick Rockbasses, you would pay a fair few quid more than their street prices for a Fretless with an ebony board elsewhere. More photos!
20.
Ou7shined, yes, correct, it's rosewood.
No he is not, despite Thomann and several other online retailers calling the fingerboards Rosewood ALL Fretless Warwicks be they German made, Korean or Chinese RockBass models have Tigerstripe Ebony Fingerboards. The reason for its lighter colouring is the fact Warwick to save money and be more enviromentally concious do not use only to core wood of ebony (the only bit that is jet black) they use far more or it, tonally and in terms of feel it is identical to the core wood. This leads to the brown 'tigerstriping' seen on the boards which I actually think is far more atractive than black ebony! The cheaper price allows them to put it on the Rockbasses.
21. The tiny bit of the fretboard in your photo looks amazing, lovely bit of tigerstripe ebony.
22. hahaha
23.
chavham original home of the chav ... but then you already knew that if youre from kent
So, hows the stolen laptop working out, you found your way onto basschat so the internet works...
