2.
Want to borrow a HS410?
. . . and try my new Sadowsky?
3. Want to borrow a HS410?
4. Anyone who can should come down. It's a good room to see any band in and MMIV should totally rock it. Plus you'll get to meet me!
5. Buy with confidence from Andy - he does what he says
6. Since each Sadowsky neck is hand-fitted to the neck pocket I find it unlikely that the Fender neck would fit very well.
7. Nice to see it finished
8. It'll definitely fit if you whip the knobs off.
9. I'd take some really comfy clothes.
10.
Is it just me but I found the Sadowsky's too perfect ? And they all looked a little too machine made. The neck pockets was too perfect, the fingerboard end is too straight-edged, the headstock just the right shape for a CNC router. I don't know, there's just something about the curves that all look like computer-generated curves if you know what I mean. Not saying that's wrong. Are you sure they aren't made by wee Robots ?
1) Having visited the Sadowsky shop I can confirm all of the above facts! The amount of time they put into the neck pocket is unreal but Roger thinks that it's one of the most important parts for good tone. 2) When I'm paying £2500 for a new bass, I want every single little thing to be perfect. Joe.
11. I've played this when it was at the factory. The dirty bass sounds are INCREDIBLE.
12. A friend of mine reguarlly put on "house shows" in his terraced house. Hardcore bands from around the country (and several touring acts from the USA) would turn up at his house and play his front room. The shows were really great - I went to quite a few. He ignored these orders from the council and eventually got a court summons. Oops!
13.
A slightly mysterious Frenchman in north London.
Sounds like our very own Ari!
14. You were very lucky not to toast the pedal with the AC.
15. That'll be ace JPJ
16. I forgot you had a Modern 5 Geoff
17. I was doing the same thing with my Celinder and Sadowsky over the same loop a couple of nights ago and I just can't seperate them. They're very different basses and are designed to do different things. I could poay my Celinder in any band, anywhere and the tone would fit right in. I didn't want that when I got my Sadowsky - I wanted an absolute chainsaw beast to cut through any band (heavy music) so I went for the most aggressive style, woods and pickups and I'm so happy. It's like a sledgehammer. I love it and it sounds great. I'm already planning my next one (silver burst I think!).
18. How did you end up playing on the recorded version for them Chris?
19. There's only one 5 string I'd buy right now and it's the MIM Fender 5 string with the upgraded pickups. Yum!

22. Depending on how amenable your sysadmin is you might be able to bribe him to take BC off the blocked websites list? I *believe* NiceGuyHomer has a funny story to this effect.
23.
Just about too? I already have! I offered £1000, which, considering the number of "difficult members" is a fair price I think.
I have a "difficult member". Oh god, I hate myself.
24. Damn, the best of both worlds. Better looking V1 enclosure. Far superior V2 innards / connections.
