The re-drilled holes did you put in place metal ‘nuts’ the ones you sink into wood for a more permanent jointing?

I am so surprised this is still here, I have it’s brother, same year same spec owned from new by me, a collectible if ever a bass was/is. I play fivers now and my bass is a wall decoration, nurtured and caressed regularly. I had a ‘90 Fretless but sold it and it would be a shame to buy this and defret, but I digress. GLWTS there are not many left guys you will not be disappointed you’d pay this money and more for a half arsed endorsed Fender regurgitated bass that didn’t (IMO) sound half as good as this.
