  1. I traded for these late last year at a trade value of £900.00, apparently they were imported at a cost of some £1,300.00, looking at the MAS website that looks to be correct taking into consideration import duty and taxes. I am for various reasons, not the least being health, moving them on. It is highly unlikely that I will be gigging in the immediate future and perhaps not this year. I used them once on a Gig prior to the closedown and they were well received by both the band and a fellow bass player, a nice, full articulate sound he said. They are very light and easily a one handed lift at 11.5 Kgs each, side by side they look impressive, stacked they are a force to be reckoned with, put an intermediate pole in between them (supplied) and you have the bottom end punch with very impressive mid's and high's. There are two 6.5" long throw drivers in each cab plus two Faitel Tweeters, each 8 Ohm cab handles about 255 watts according to the info from MAS web site so a highly articulate 550 Watt rig at 4 Ohms. Mike Arnopol himself used the 6'5" drivers for his upright bass gigs and seems to favour them above larger cone area's. He has patented his "Manipulated Vortex Waveguide" system and for me its every bit as good as my previously owned EA NL112 cabs! Height: 680mm (26") Width: 203mm (8") Depth: 355mm (14") You can check him out on Facebook and Talk Bass where he is quite vocal , techy without the BFM edge! Now for the snaps, I put new strap handles on them , new feet and a lick of that there textured paint, IMO they look great. Shiny bits are sunlight reflection. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I would consider a small combo as a part chop. Thanks for looking
  2. Thanks for your notes of support guys, pretty soon, I’m going outside, I could be some time😱
  3. Is this still here? 😎
  4. Actual snaps would be good 😎
  5. Your right, I think you will find the Mods might have something to say about it 😱
  6. I’d guess, er, £700.00 plus P&P 🤔
  7. I mush have clocked the Ext Cab weight........ 28.6Kg is weigh too much of a heft for a gig a month 😱 GLWTS
  8. That must weigh as much as you Lawrence 😱
  9. 19.5 Kg just about my upper weight limit..... 😱
  10. Reduced price £700.00 o.n.o and trades as well. 1x12 cabs 8 Ohm GK 112 NEO plus cash would be good.
  11. Much better in the flesh, thanks 😎
  12. Do you have some actual snaps ?
  13. Trades I’m interested in are: 1x15”, 2 x 10” 4 or 8 Ohm cash your way for the right cab.
  14. Still here
  15. I looked, the way you do, there’s a fretless 6 and a myriad of other stuff. Brave man dipping your foot in that pond. GLWTS as you say a brilliant project
  16. I’ve gotta Glockenspiel?
  17. You ‘feckin’ liar, Cherry Red, no! Unicorns Breath, parallel universe stuff, scary, sheeeeet
  18. In my experience, dipping your toe in the Fretless pool is easier, if (in this case) you already play a 34” scale bass. You will know where the notes are on your Fretted, so use your tuner in line to practise a riff/tune on your Fretless checking your intonation as you go.... use a backing track. It’s not an overnight sensation but doable. And this does look good, so much better than the “Jack Cassidy” Lookalike 😎 B
  19. Wow, just love these. After a couple of years off playing after I got married (had to get a real job) I bought an original so I could start playing again, this was way back in ‘71, loved it. Always fancied the Cherry Red Gibson though😎 GLWTS
  20. Yes, Two would be good. 😎
  21. Checkout the dimensions it’ll complement the BF, it did when I had the BF15. I’m in a state of flux, so looking to move my kit. 😎
  22. The description says it has : Frets: 21 Extra high, nickel silver, jumbo Theres a rabbit away somewhere 😎
