Purchased a Roqsolid cover for it, even though it’s ‘painty’ finish looks and feels indestructible, I also put some rubber patches on its base to protect the bottom finish. Bought from Walshy on this ear forum, only reason for change is ordering the HB Valve jobby. May take a part trade but cash helps me more with my GAS. The I realised 🤓 I had the band mixer more channels more people to jam with.. So I’m using that. Boxed as new. Its a neat piece of kit and does the job. Thanks for looking

    As the instigator of this informative thread you ‘obviously’ have developed a rapport with him. I asked, what I thought, was a sensible question. See below. The reply was not what I expected, and I do understand the issues involved in small production runs fulfilling a demanding market. I never, got the answer I sought. I wanted to complement my HB R400 (bought here from Paul) with a matching cab (OCD) but in view of the convoluted response, and don’t get me wrong we parted on great terms, but, I bought a barefaced cab instead. It won’t stop me dealing with them, far from it. Out with the old in with the new.

    Well, there’s a tale. You can buy direct, but, there is very little understanding/comprehension of the English language. They will sell you, but don’t expect a comprehensive reply to any query you may have. I have the HB R400, bought from Walshy, happy with it , happy with the bomb proof construction, quirky controls and the sound. Not happy with my request for “Tech Spec’s” from HB on the speakers cabs. I could go on, I won’t. IMO, there are no heads at this price point that come close in looks, construction and sound. They are great sounding heads, PR isn’t that great.

So I’m withdrawing the NL112 I have for sale, that’s now a keeper, I’m underpinning it with a BF 110, utilising the 110 as a sub to the NL. Simples. Delivered U.K. Mainland included, no trades my BF110 has been ordered. FYI, Andertons are getting an order in 10th Feb! Not a lot to say about it, the cab punches well above its weight of 12Kg, it’s the bulk that I’m wanting rid of not the sound. Great cab, what’s not to like? Includes a cover. Using my HB R400 the volume is two clicks up from off @ 9 o’clock. When I used my 2 x NL112 the volume was on 11 o’clock. Immaculate used condition with cover.     Right, I’m not liking these new flats on my Fretted , I use La Bella on my Fretless, back to DR Blackies on my Sandberg. So it’s two sets of Ernie Ball Slinky Flatwound Electric Bass 5 string sets. Both used on my 35” scale Sandberg 4 over 1 Cali’. One marked 34” would suit a 34” scale buts its got a ‘cut short’ D others are good. The other marked 35” Sandberg have just been removed from my Bass ( the 35” 4 over 1 Cali). 4 gigs 2 rehearsal. These are circa £60.00 a set. Take both of them for £55.00 posted. This’ll give you a complete set plus 4 spares.... Thanks, please take advantage of my senility they are annoying me. That’ll do it.
