  1. Hey folks. I need someone with tip top electrical knowledge. I have a custom Stambaugh bass I had made a few years back. Gorgeous construction, but the electronics are complicated (4 band, piezo and a graphtech midi system all fighting for space) and I’ve had problems with it. Unwanted noise, batteries draining, all sorts. Something’s awry in there somewhere. I’m in Devon, any recommendations for experts in the South West much appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Gorgeous. Love the design of the saddles. GLWTS
  3. So good to have tone clips! Sounds amazing, and nice playing @Quatschmacher
  4. What a stunning colour! GLWTS
  5. I had a chance to play this when I bought a cab from Marc recently, it’s an absolute beast and it’s in fantastic condition. GLWTS!
  6. I had the pleasure of playing with Elliot Randall many years ago. Bloody lovely and (of course) a wonderful player! I’ve been rediscovering my love of Pat Metheny’s earlier work. James is such an incredible tune.
  7. I absolutely love those extra 2 frets below the E. So much cooler than a detuner. GLWTS!
  8. So cool, I’d grab this if I could. GLWTS
  9. I have a fretted and a fretless ubass, they sound excellent amplified. As others have mentioned, the very short scale takes some getting used to, the standard strings too. They’re both extremely bendy and quite sticky. I found I developed a feel for them pretty quickly though, and I have a blast playing them.
  10. Seems most folks either want Scott to dull it down, or expect him to make the greatest fusion record ever. I think what he’s doing is pretty great and I hope he gets more young people into fusion, that would be cool.
  11. Mick helped facilitate a recent sale in tricky circumstances. As others here have said, he’s a gent and clearly a great pal to have. Cheers Mick
  12. Any feedback from purchases, trades, sales etc
  13. Beedster is doing you a favour suggesting a new thread if you want to raise the price. I’d suggest dropping the attitude too.
  14. What a beast!
  15. That finish is really beautiful. GLWTS
  16. That’s really lovely. In the unlikely event that it’s available in a couple of months I’ll gladly take it off your hands! Have you got any audio clips?
  17. Stunning! Open to any trades?
  18. What a beautiful bass! Do you have any sound clips you could upload pls?
  19. Fantastic cabinet. I'm an EA player though and this adds a little too much of its own tone for my taste. Barely gigged, second owner (previous owner barely gigged either) in great condition. Blurb: The Traveler 121H is fantastic for bass players who need a smaller, warm sounding rig. This cab, which won the 2007 "Best Bass Cabinet" MIPA award, is the number one choice for acoustic bass players. IMPEDANCE: 8 ohms SPEAKER SIZE 1x12 in.
